I started Caremark (Chelmsford & Uttlesford) in 2010, and have worked tirelessly alongside my team to build a service we are all proud of.
We will all face a time when we need a little help; maybe for someone we love, or maybe for ourselves. At that time we would all hope the people we turn to treat us with kindness and respect. Having witnessed the difference positive care can make, I am determined that we will strive every day to support our clients to live lives that matter.
I have worked in the care sector for over 30 years I have gained a wealth of experience. I started my journey working within Domiciliary Care as a care and support worker fitting it in around my young family, and this then led to a full-time job as a Care Manager. Through this role I quickly learnt that there are many other facets to the care sector and decided to expand my care knowledge, working in the fields of Domestic Abuse, Children Support Services, Adults with Learning Needs, NVQ Assessor in Health & Social Care, Domestic Abuse Services and finally back to the Domiciliary Care Sector. I continue to be passionate about the quality of care delivered to vulnerable people and will always promote this within my roles.
Since 2014 I have been providing a high standard of care to not only my clients but my staff too. In the years I have worked in the care industry I have been very passionate about building a successful career for myself and Caremark have given me the opportunity to see this through. I chose to start my career path in the care industry because I feel that making a difference in someone else’s life, makes a difference to my life. Since I was young I have always wanted to do that little bit more for people and in the care industry you most certainly can achieve this, I do believe this is why I am where I am today. Building a good relationship with my carers, clients and their families is most important to me as I believe it is vital to keep them communicating with each other as much as possible. This way, together, we can provide a service that supports them personally to meet their individual needs.
