Home care provider Bluebird Care Shropshire is giving a 10-20 per cent pay rise to its home care and live-in care staff and is recruiting for 30 care assistants in Shrewsbury, Oswestry & Church Stretton.
With staff shortages in the UK's care sector, the home care firm is looking to recruit care workers for 30 jobs, 'as a result of an increase in demand for home care support'.
Bluebird Care Shropshire specialises in supporting people needing care at home who live with dementia, physical disabilities, and other acute and chronic conditions. It offers home care as well as 24/7 live-in care to people in Shrewsbury, Oswestry & Church Stretton.
The home care provider has stated that ‘despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic', it 'has continued to go from strength-to-strength'.
