GoodOaks Homecare is Finalists in 2024 BFA HSBC British Franchise Awards

Poole based Homecare franchise GoodOaks Homecare has made it to the finals of the prestigious 2024 BFA HSBC UK British Franchise Awards. The BFA, with its tag line of ‘Discover Your Tomorrow’ is widely recognised as the UK’s self-regulatory body for franchising. After a thorough assessment of their franchise opportunity, members must abide by the association’s code of conduct, ensuring their franchise is run along professional and ethical lines. They currently have over 300 members listed on their website. Fighting for their position amongst hundreds of other entrants, GoodOaks are finalists in the “Franchisor of The Year - Expanding” category. GoodOaks Homecare was founded in 2011 by two carers Ben and Darius. They franchised their business in 2016 and now have 20 franchised GoodOaks offices, covering a number of locations across the UK. They have strong links to the community, currently working with their local university on groundbreaking training to support and improve the quality of care throughout the sector in the UK. Commenting on the announcement, Co-Founder Ben Ashton said: “We are absolutely delighted to have reached the finals of these awards. Despite the success of our franchise operation, we still consider Bournemouth and Poole to be our home and the success of our business has meant that we now employ 12 support staff at HQ at our Bourne Valley Road office.
