Over £600 for Challenging MND

Bluebird Care Brentwood, Billericay and Ongar has been working hard with the help of her team, to raise funds for the charity, Challenging MND. The team have raised £604 to go towards the incredible work the charity do and the families they support. The charity is very close to the team’s heart, they worked extremely hard holding events and activities to raise as much money for this worthy cause. The team held a well-attended quiz night at The Swan in Brentwood and ran many fun-filled activities and local events throughout the summer too.The local charity Challenging MND based in Brentwood was inspired by Alex Gibson who in 2018 was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. It was set-up to provide financial support and assistance to those living with the disease. The charity currently supports more than 400 families who have been affected by Motor Neurone Disease and make a real positive difference in order to support them. Alex and Jason visited Bluebird Care last week and spoke about the amazing work the charity do. Alex Gibson, chairman and founder of Challenging MND, said: “We met with the team at bluebird today and it was such a friendly engaging team. "We are all delighted that they chose us as a small charity to support. Hopefully we can see more of them in the future. "At the same time, I was very appreciative of their support and hard work. It means so much to the team at Challenging MND.”
