I have been very happy with the quality of service I have received from Bluebird Care. All the carers have been of a high standard and have interacted well with my mother, providing company and conversation for her as well as ensuring that she washes and eats as necessary. I have also been impressed by the quality of Bluebird's office team and systems. These ensure that the required care tasks incuding the administration of medication are completed and that my mother's health issues are monitored as required. They have taken a genuine interest in her welfare which I have found to be very helpful. Keep up the good work!
It's especially rewarding to know that our care team has been able to offer not only high standards of support, but also meaningful companionship....
All the Carers were great but special thanks to Maria & Supervisor Joanna.
The standard of care was excellent and the Carers carried out household chores with dedication.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review we will ensure the positive feedback is shared with the team.
Whilst Dad is unable to communicate he has a lovely relationship with the familiar carers who even get a smile from him.
Thanks for your kind feedback I will ensure this is passed onto the team.
They ask if they can do anything else to help.
They are friendly and helpful.
I would recommend them to anyone.
We are new to Bluebird but so far have found them very helpful & caring.
Thank you for your review, your feedback is greatly appreciated.
The review was fine, and it was a good opportunity to say how I felt. The reviewer was known to me, and was very cooperative and understanding.
We are glad you had a face to face review with Bluebird. Thanks for leaving a positive response online.
The carers have been very good looking after my mum and she looks forward to seeing them. They are always reliable, compassionate and cheerful. The office staff are understanding and very helpful too.
Thank you for taking the time to review our care service, your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Would recommend Bluebird Care as a caring and helpful company. We initially started with them to support my dad's last days but they stayed on and have been a great help to my mum and she enjoys their company. We have had to increase the care my mum receives over the last few months and Bluebird have been able to help us at short notice, which has made all the difference. We find the office staff very helpful with any queries and set our minds at rest. We are now moving to live-in care and are hoping this will work as well.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide a review on the care we provide. I will ensure that the team see your kind words. Many thanks - Marketing Manager
They are well-trained and helpful in supplying useful information and are professional in their care and support.
My aunt always speaks highly of all the carers and says they are always cheerful which helps to brighten her day.
Thank you for your kind words and for spending your team to provide a review, I will ensure that I share this with our team who I know will be very thankful to you. All the very best Lisa Green Marketing Manager
I realise that we are all individuals and that we all have different needs. Therefore I can only offer my opinion on the way in which I have been cared for. I know that I like everything neat and tidy and this may appear pedantic. But this is part of my personality. I personally think Bluebird offers a wide scope of care for their clients. They try to be accommodating to them as well as to their care staff. I personally appreciate the way in which they truly match the personalities of the clients and the carers together as I realise human personalities greatly differ. The clients and carers are of major importance to the staff who always follow through with any concerns that may arise. Caring in the community is such a specialist vocation and there is so much for the carers to learn about for example Dementia, Parkinsons', Alzheimer's, bodily functions etc. And this alongside kindness patience and sensitivity. Well done Bluebird.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing Bluebird Care. We're glad to hear that you are happy with the service we provide and will ensure that we share this with our teams. Your comments help us enhance our services and so we really appreciate it. Many thanks.
My father is now bed-bound and I do feel Bluebird was not as proactive as I would have liked with the change of circumstances, bearing in mind it was all new to us.
My father is comfortable and we have had the same carers for the last 3 years who have my father's interests at heart.
Thank you for your feedback and for choosing Bluebird Care for your father's needs. We're glad to hear that he is comfortable and that our carers have been dedicated to his well-being over the past three years. We appreciate your input regarding the transition to his current care needs and will...
The day-to-day management and staff support is excellent. The carers are very sensitive to my needs and deliver all the services I require at home. The only issue was the charges were increased substantially during Covid and subsequently annually, and I feel the fees are expensive for people on a fixed income.
Thank you for your positive feedback about our day-to-day management and staff support. We are delighted to hear that our carers have been sensitive to your needs and provide excellent service. Regarding the fees, we keep increases in line with inflation. We understand your concerns about costs,...
It was lovely meeting with a staff member before my holiday and my mum enjoyed answering her questions so that her care plan could be designed especially for her.
My mum said that everyone that came in to look after her was lovely and couldn't do enough for her and made her beautifully cut sandwiches for her lunch and the only downside was the fact that the time went far too quickly and an hour at a time was not long enough! So next time I will have to look at extending her sessions with you! Thank you again!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to provide such a lovely review, I will pass this on to our team, Many Thanks again.
My mother is very happy with the help she receives from Bluebird Care. The carers are kind and considerate and treat her with dignity and respect. She enjoys chatting with them and finding out about their lives. I've found the company to be helpful and quick to respond on admin matters and overall, we're both very pleased with the service she receives.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this review and thank you for your kind words. Many thanks.
For the last 16 months, the carers at Bluebird Care have looked after my Mother following a fall and a period in hospital. They see to all her needs in a cheerful and efficient way. Without them, she would not be able to stay in her own house which is her wish. They make sure she has all her meals and takes her tablets on time but also they chat with her and make her feel involved.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review, I will pass this on to the team who I know will be very grateful. Many Thanks, Lisa Green Marketing Manager
Kind, friendly and empathic carers who my friend is very happy with. They go over and above.
Highly recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review, I will pass your kind words on to the team who I know will really appreciate them. Thank you again, Lisa.
Thank you Bluebird!
Hi, thank you so much for rating us! Our team takes pride in providing an excellent customer experience, keeping people safe and happy in their homes and we're glad you feel we do this well.
Bluebird Care cares for both Mum and Dad. They were extremely helpful before Christmas when my dad became very unwell. My dad is now in a nursing home but Bluebird still care for Mum. They are cheerful and caring and I know Mum loves chatting to them and hearing all about their lives. The house has always been left clean and tidy.
Many thanks for your kind words and for taking the time to review our services, we will pass your kind words on to our team members.
Due to my stepdad needing additional care we had to change care providers. We were recommended to Bluebird Care and I am pleased to say that Bluebird have been extremely reliable, caring and are very professional. It was a big step to change care provider, both my mum and stepdad were a little apprehensive of the change, but we are glad to say that my mum is more than happy with the care that Bluebird give to my stepdad and he himself feels very confident and happy in the care he is receiving.
Thank you for your review, I am pleased to hear our Brentwood (Essex West office) were able to support the change of needs in a professional way and that your step dad and mother are pleased with the services.
The carers support Mum too as his main carer and she enjoys having someone to chat to. I would happily recommend Bluebird Care to others and have nothing negative to add.
Dear Susan, thank you for your feedback and kind comments. We take pride in our care team and services that we deliver, it is so great to hear you feel the same. I know our team enjoy visiting and supporting your dad and chatting with your mum too.
Essex West team.

Clem has been part of The Essex West team from the outset. As our longest-standing employee, Clem is equipped with a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for her job role. Since beginning her career with Bluebird Care, Clem has held the role of both care assistant and senior care assistant. In these roles, Clem continually showed an amicable approach to all, happy to assist any customer or care assistant in need and carry out any duties required. As well as Clem's wealth of experience she is also extremely well educated; with a (BA) of Science in Health and Social Care, NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, SFE level 3 Palliative Care, EDI level 2 Managing and Safe Handling of Medication, as well as equality and diversity certifications. Clem is a true asset to our team and is always on hand to apply her knowledge to any situation when required.
A family-orientated Mum of three, Joanna Curd, joined Bluebird Care Essex West, just after the pandemic. I manage HR and recruitment with a fantastic team.
Being fairly new to the care industry, my only regret is that I hadn’t started sooner! I now have a rewarding job where every day is different and I get to make a difference in other people's lives.
Michelle joined Bluebird Care Essex West in January 2013.
After her grandmother received homecare support and seeing the difference this made to her Michelle was inspired to have a career change.
Michelle has completed her NVQ L2 in Health and Social Care and following this was promoted to senior care assistant which allowed her to take on more responsibility.
In January 2014 Michelle was further promoted to the care supervisor role, which was a great opportunity to see the other side of the care system.
She enjoys her new role as our Senior Care Supervisor immensely. Michelle now gets to go out to meet new customers, reassure them and explain how homecare works. She can then personalise a care plan which meets all their requirements.
Care assistants work very hard and it is my pleasure to be part of this team. I still enjoy the occasions when I have to go out and give care. Being a care assistant or part of a caring community is a rewarding and satisfying career."
My name is Dawn and I am one of the Supervisors at Bluebird Care Essex West.
I have worked for Bluebird Care since early 2022 starting as a Care Expert before becoming a Supervisor in 2023. I feel privileged to be part of such an amazing team. It feels very rewarding knowing that you make a difference in people’s lives. I truly love my job – the only regret I have is that I did not do this sooner!
I joined Bluebird Care in 2015 and really enjoy my role, of supporting those we care for.
It is important to us all that we dedicate our full-time roles to the management of Live in Care for our customers and our Live in Care assistants, to ensure this aspect of our business is managed effectively and to the highest of quality standards.
Live in Care is classed as a significant purchase, and whilst more cost-effective than a residential setting the management of each individual Live in Care package requires a lot of time and attention. If you would like to learn more about how we manage our Live in Care Package's and support our Live in Care assistant please navigate to our Live in Care FAQ's under the useful information tab on our website.
Whilst we are all well experienced in this service, we never lose sight of the difference we make in our customers ’ lives. Being able to remain safe at home is a dream of many of our customers and their families. We work to make that dream a reality, ensuring that the customer is safe, happy and living their life to their full potential in the familiar surroundings of their own home.
I have been at Bluebird Care since 2014 and I am fortunate to love my job and be a part of an ‘outstanding’ team. My role is more than a “traditional finance” role, which makes it a very rewarding role – I get the opportunity to meet customers and employees and it’s an amazing feeling knowing that as a team we have made a positive difference to someone’s life and been there to support them – may that be our customers, their families or a Bluebird Care employee.
Bluebird Care Redbridge is owned and run by Kevin and Tracey McCormack who bring a wealth of professional care and service experience along with management and organisational expertise to your local area.
