Our Operations Director, Theresa Bradley-Comstive, shared her thoughts on the power of women in the workforce this International Women’s Day.

”As a leader, I always do my utmost to support, encourage and develop the people I have the pleasure of working with. Investing in our people creates new opportunities for existing staff as well as for our next generation at Springfield Healthcare. It is extremely important to me personally to join colleagues and professionals around the world in celebrating this international women’s day on March 8th 2025.

Now, more than ever, we must rise to the challenges presented to us and call out gender bias and inequality, we need to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements and help create an inclusive world where our daughters will flourish without experiencing any limit! I am a mother as well as a leader in Springfield Healthcare, a role which I am really proud of – especially when we can create opportunities and career growth for women.

The introduction of a newly established Management Academy and our Youth Academy platform will help to support our inclusive culture, as well as the development and wellbeing of our women leaders of the future.

Women are the heart of our organisation. They understand who build meaningful connections, offer unwavering support, and bring comfort and joy to those we serve.

So, to every woman at Springfield Healthcare you are making a real difference, not just today, but every single day."
