A home care provider based in Stratford-Upon-Avon is celebrating two years of success after rebranding and improving its CQC rating to ‘Good’ under new ownership.
Barnfield Homecare was acquired by Jas and Sharon Puaar in 2020 and is now a family-run business that provides home care services to elderly people across Warwickshire.
The business had been running for 30 years prior to the acquisition, but it had a ‘Requires Improvement’ CQC rating, with no branding or presence.
Within one year of acquiring Barnfield Homecare, Jas and Sharon rebranded the service with a new logo, website and strapline – ‘Let out family take care of yours’.
The provider also received a ‘Good’ rating from the CQC in August 2021, with the regulator noting that the service was “committed to driving up standards”.
Commenting on their achievements, Jas and Sharon said: “We are extremely proud of our team and what we’ve collectively achieved within one year. Barnfield Homecare was already a well-established agency, however our aim was to improve the quality of care through robust processes, frequent training and effective communication.
“This has been achieved as we continuously invest into our carers to ensure they are fully trained and equipped, so they can provide the best care and give our clients complete peace of mind. We’re so pleased with our brand launch and we hope that our awareness can support others in need too.
“We are a family run business, and this family feel extends out to our clients and carers too.”
Since the acquisition, the new owners of Barnfield Homecare have also purchased branded uniforms and a company car, sponsored the main roundabout for Stratford in Bloom and strengthened its community presence by donating gifts to South Warwickshire Hospital.
