Walfinch Newcastle is proud to announce the launch of Thrive Club, a new community initiative designed to help local people stay active, connected and confident in their own homes for longer.

Thrive Club sessions will offer gentle seated exercises, social activities and refreshments in a friendly, welcoming environment. They are completely free to attend and open to everyone, not just Walfinch clients.

Our goal is to make staying active both enjoyable and accessible. By encouraging regular movement and social interaction, Thrive Club aims to improve mobility, boost mood and help prevent isolation. Sessions will be delivered by experienced and caring staff, ensuring they are safe, supportive and tailored to individual needs.

As our Managing Director Idris Nasar says, “Care should not just be about keeping people alive, but helping them thrive.”

We look forward to welcoming our community to Thrive Club and making it a regular part of life across North Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead and South Tyneside.
