Walfinch has provided care since March 2025, with all aspects of the care package being satisfactory to date. Visits are made on time, and the App enables family members to conveniently keep track of the care provided, visit by visit if desired.

The Walfinch Team currently look after Mam, ensuring she is safe, specifically whilst showering. The service they provide is second to none in what can be a very demanding environment. The team's ability to be flexible according to Mam's immediate demands is great. Thank you to all involved.

My mother-in-law suffers from Alzheimer's.
When it became obvious that we needed extra help we found Walfinch. Having worked in Health & Social Care for over 20 years I was scrupulous in my search for the "right people".
The care my mother-in-law has received since May this year to date has been
exceptional.
I know in the future more more care will be needed, it is so reassuring to know we have found the "right people"

This review covers the period from November 24 and is ongoing. After looking at several care providers for my elderly Great Aunt I decided on Walfinch. Since the very first day it has been like a breath of fresh air! I am no longer worried that staff will not turn up, or that they will not be adequately
trained. Of course it is a two way relationship and the management team offer me feedback and ideas and don't wait for the review period to get in touch. They take note of little things that make a great difference for my aunt. Professional, courteous and always helpful. From the management team down to the carers on the front line they are responsive and without doubt an excellent care provider. The carers take pride in their work and knowledge and the management team offer them support and good training. Thank you to the whole team!

Walfinch have been helping me with looking after my wife. I cannot speak more highly of them as they have been a great godsend to me. All the carers (without exception) have been very good and courteous to both of us.

Great carers, friendly and professional care/service. This was an ad-hoc three mornings in Newcastle when we were enjoying a city break. The carers picked up quickly on my care plan and were excellent. Cannot fault them.

I needed some extra help with my extremely frail mum for about 4 days with showering and getting her into bed at extremely short notice. The managing director and the client manager couldn’t have been more helpful and arranged an immediate assessment and put the care I needed for her in place straight
away. The carers who came were professional, caring and punctual. I couldn’t have asked for a better service and will definitely be asking to use their services again.

The team at Walfinch Newcastle East are excellent care providers. Our experience to date has shown them to be totally supportive of Dad's needs as they provide a truly personal service.
After the initial contact from the managing director and the meeting with the care manager/the carers, everything
has been done to the agreed timescales and costs.
The actual visits (helping with showering and physio) have been undertaken by 2 carers to the highest standard.
The care package provided has given the wider family great peace of mind for which we are all extremely grateful.

I started using Walfinch after a couple of other companies had been unsuitable, they have been absolutely fabulous. My dad looks forward to his visits twice a day, he loves the chats and they even manage to coax him into the shower! The girls are always on time, and very reliable, so glad I found this
company, nothing is too much trouble for them.

I used Walfinch over a period of 15 days, mornings and evenings, to assist my mother. The staff who attended were very caring and professional. My mother enjoyed their company and was pleased to have the help. She is looking forward to seeing them again. I would highly recommend them.

Very good service all round. Carers are on time and very reliable indeed. No task is a problem - excellent communication on Dad's day and progress. My dad has no problems with his carers and talks about them very highly. Very trustworthy and very professional at all times. Glad I found Walfinch, and

My mother was well looked after and entertained by the carer. She had her hair and nails done by the carer. My mother was given her meals and taken to the toilet. My mother said it was five star care. She said she would be cared by them again.
