The Launch of Radfield Home Care in Watford

A New Home Care and Day Care Service for Older People On Tuesday 11 February, our Leavesden Green Community Hub hosted the grand opening event for Radfield Home Care Watford and Borehamwood. Radfield Home Care provides compassionate support to older people across the UK and has now expanded its much-needed day care service to Watford.

A Memorable Launch Event At the launch event, guests took part in chair exercises, crafts, and a quiz, followed by a hot meal from Health and Independent Living Support (HILS) offering them a taste of what to expect from the full sessions. Among the guests were:

Lynne Misner, founder of Small Acts of Kindness, who shared a heartfelt message about spreading kindness and making a positive impact in the community. Peter Taylor, Elected Mayor of Watford, who spoke passionately about community development and initiatives like this one. Representatives from Watford Community Housing, One Vision, local councillors, and many more. A Commitment to Wellbeing and Social Interaction Lavanya Gamsani, Owner and Director of Radfield Home Care Watford and Borehamwood, said:

“Our group is designed to promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and overall wellbeing. By delivering a well-structured programme of chair exercises, crafts, bingo, and other engaging activities, we provide a welcoming space that supports mobility and cognitive health. Join Our Weekly Day Care Sessions These sessions run every Tuesday from 10 am to 2 pm at Leavesden Green Community Hub. Those who require personalised care will receive a tailored care plan to suit their individual needs.
