Nexus Care Services celebrates WMCA Award shortlisting for manager

Nexus Care Services is delighted to share that Tinga Umera, its Managing Director, has been shortlisted for an Excellence in Care Award at the 2025 West Midlands Care Association (WMCA) Awards.

This award is presented to a Registered Manager who demonstrates an exceptional level of professional expertise, leadership, and vision in the care sector.

It recognises those who successfully manage the complex and demanding responsibilities of running a care service while ensuring staff are supported, empowered, and inspired to deliver the very best in person-centred care.

Tinga’s leadership and his commitment to delivering care that truly makes a difference have made him a worthy contender for this award.

Under his management, Nexus Care Services has built on its reputation in the West Midlands for providing safe, high-quality support shaped around the needs of each individual.

Tinga shared his appreciation for the shortlisting: “I feel honoured to be recognised in this way. It is my belief that while care is about meeting the needs of our clients, a major part of that is about ensuring every individual feels respected, listened to, and valued in every aspect of their lives.
