I cannot speak highly enough about the care my mom received. From the very beginning, the carers showed genuine compassion, patience, and professionalism. They were incredibly understanding of her needs, especially as she lives with dementia, and consistently treated her with dignity and respect.
What stood out most was the time they took to comfort her. They never rushed interactions and always made sure she felt safe, calm, and supported, even on her more difficult days. Their kindness and reassurance made a real difference not only to my mom's wellbeing but also to our whole family's peace of mind.

Our experience with Nexus has been very positive. The carers are all extremely reliable, compassionate and helpful. The team as a whole is very responsive and any issues are ironed out immediately. They have excellent communication systems and the new App which allows families to see the outcome of that day's visit is very helpful. Samuel has been extremely helpful in supporting and arranging extra care in recent months when my mum's health deteriorated.

They do the bare minimum, adminster tablets put a microwave meal in the microwave and then leave. They never greeted my father or made the effort to converse with him. The one time he was left in urine soaked joggers.
We have since changed to another care company and they have been fantastic. A lot more caring and supportive of my father's needs.

The girls take her out , make sure she takes her medication . Often they go for something to eat with her . It gets her out of the house , building her confidence back up after my Father died , she doesn't feel so alone now .

Nexus been supporting my parents for more than 2 years - they are excellent in every respect. The Carers are patient, kind, respectful and encouraging. The office staff work hard to find a good match between Client and Carer resulting in positive, friendly and trusting relationships. It's very easy to sort out any queries and the Openpass system means I can access up-to-date information on what my parents have done that day and their state of mind. This is especially important as my parents have dementia. Nexus are always so adaptable, responding very quickly in an emergency and the Carers are responsive each day to the challenges faced when they arrive at my parents house. Often asked to help in a wide range of chores, or taking them out. My father has responded especially well to the daily stimulation of social interaction, mental and physical exercises - he's more engaged and chatty than he has been for years. Having Nexus assist my parents has enabled them to remain at home.

Mum had been experiencing some difficulties coping at home and was prone to falls too, which was a real worry!
She was initially quite resistant to having carers in the house but within a few weeks she quickly came around and now, wouldn't be without them!
We have a mixture of 3 or 4 carers and Mum is very fond of all of them. They all go above and beyond their duties and it gives the rest of the family such peace of mind knowing that these carers will arrive on time and stay for the whole duration of the call time. They have literally never let us down!

My friend has a care call every morning now to set her up for the day and she really looks forward to them arriving always on time, to get her dressed and sort out her breakfast.

When Mum was unexpectedly discharged from hospital into a Care Home after a stroke, we needed to quickly set up a care package so she could come home. We were lucky enough to be referred to Nexus who promptly came out to discuss our requirements, a plan was put in place and Mum was able to come home, where she wanted to be. That was nearly 6 years ago!
In that time, Nexus has considerably grown as a company but the level of care continues to be of the highest standard. The office staff and carers are friendly, professional and flexible, nothing is too much trouble. During the recent bad weather, when many people had the opportunity to work from home, the carers didn't let their client's down and soldiered on in the snow.

My Mum needed a care package for support after after an unplanned stay in hospital. We were arranging care for the first time and it seemed a bit of a minefield to navigate but the team at Nexus were supportive, helpful and responsive.
The care was set up at short notice and was carried out with patience, turning up when the said they would every time. Sometimes they helped Mum with small household chores or making sure she took the correct meds or was eating properly or sometimes that she had a friendly face to combat loneliness.
I live a long way away and my more local brothers work unpredictable shifts. The care provided by Nexus took a weight of all our minds - I would absolutely recommend.

My husband had excellent care by Nexus three times a day for about two months, during which time some of them became almost like family and he looked forward to seeing them. They always cheered him up and I could usually hear laughing and chatting while they were with him. Some of them even came to his funeral which demonstrates how real the care was. Prior to setting up the care I had tremendous support and help from one staff member in particular which was much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Nexus was excellent in all aspects from a professional level and we always received great feedback from families. Nexus provide a morning care call every day and helps Dad with getting up washed, dressed and set for the day. It is nice for both my mom and dad to see a friendly face every morning and they always include mom to see if she is ok too. The care has been in place for nearly two weeks and Dad already has his favourite carers, one staff member in particular but they have all been lovely. I now have the peace of mind that there will also be someone checking in with my parents every day first thing. They treat their staff well and it shows through the care my father receives and the professional manner and kindness you receive from director level to carers.

I've had Nexus Care for a few months now and incredibly pleased with not only the carers, but the office staff and management. When my father took a nasty fall on his local high street, he broke his right arm and was unable to take care of his daily personal hygiene routine and dressing himself. He is a very proud, intelligent and fiercely independent man so approaching the subject of home care was not easy - despite the fact he is 88 years old. I called Nexus and within 24 hours one of their staff members came to meet my father and assess his needs. He explained that all packages were flexible so Dad could change the schedule of visits around his appointments where needed. Dad is a private man and was slightly nervous about having female carers, so initially Nexus arranged for a male carer to be with him as much possible, but Dad soon relaxed as he became familiar with the female carers who were so respectful of privacy and dignity. From a personal perspective, I can’t thank Nexus enough as they have enabled my dad to keep living independently whilst coping with a broken arm and I know they will be there for the future when needed.

Tinga has qualifications from Oxford University in Entrepreneurship Studies, He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Aston University and is a Member of the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He has a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Computing (Information Systems) from Wolverhampton University, and he holds a level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People Services.
I have worked for Nexus Care Services since July 2018 and have progressed from payroll administrator to the Business Development Director and Finance Manager within 2 years. I have worked in the Healthcare industry for 10 years+ and have extensive knowledge of the industry from finance, recruitment, compliance, and sales. My role within the business is to develop and bring on new clients as well as managing all financial affairs with duties including payroll, invoicing and debt collecting.
