Nexus have been providing care for my father since November 2020 after having major surgery. As I myself live in the Channel Islands and considering current circumstances, it was very quick and easy to set up the care that my dad needed, taking a huge responsibility off my shoulders. We couldn’t have asked for a better service, which often goes above and beyond usual requirements. I would not hesitate for one moment, in recommending them to anybody in similar circumstances.

Following a severe stroke, we decided to have our father home for a period of time. He needed expert nursing care. The carers we had were amazing. They took time to get to know dad and his likes and dislikes. He was a very proud man and he was treated with dignity and compassion. His every need was met and they always turned up when they said. Nothing was too much trouble. Our experience was wonderful and would highly recommend the Nexus.

I am very pleased with the way things have developed with Nexus. They are very much better than the first carer company we tried. They are reliable and competent, and my mum is delighted with them, most particularly by the early morning cup of tea she gets with her medication. It has been very easy to make any adjustments we needed to the care package and the communication has been excellent. Nexus have been providing care for my sister on a monthly basis since March 2020. I am the family contact for her and have been liaising with her care manager and support personnel on a regular basis. Changes needed for her care and wellbeing has always been dealt with promptly and efficiently. Everyone has worked very hard to maintain a regular daily care schedule which is important to her. Requests for any change in routine are listened to carefully to make sure they understand what is required. The reply is always kind and caring, giving me no doubt they will do their best to help. In the current situation, it is not easy for them, but they never fail to provide the care needed. I am truly impressed by the genuine concern for my sister, which I hear in the voices of any of the carers and office personnel. The family all agree that my sister is having the best care possible. It is good to know that Nexus want what the family want - for my sister to be cared for and happy.

Over the last year, we have found Nexus Care Services to be a professional, flexible and friendly company. They were always ready to respond to requests, changes and communication were very good. Nexus Care Services are a satisfactory caring company. They do try to keep a good standard. Sometimes the times on the rota are not kept correctly, but I know this can be difficult. The majority do their best for me. Out of 100% marks, I would give them 80%.

Nexus Care Services sends staff (carers) who understand my needs. These carers are always on time. When I say a carer is good they let that person come a lot. Obviously, some carers are better than others but the overall standard is high. The office staff at Nexus Care Services HQ seem to look after the carers' needs too.

The quality of care and physical support provided by Nexus is of an exceptionally high order. My friend has been treated with the utmost love, care and support, especially during recent months when she has needed an additional layer of emotional support, following upon the death of her younger sister. I have recently needed to appoint a carer to my 94-year-old, profoundly deaf mother-in-law. This was to ensure she is able to remain in her own home and surroundings. Having previously worked for and with the owner many years ago, my family and I chose Nexus Homecare. We had the pleasure of meeting the manager within four days of my initial contact. He met us and my mother-in-law at her home to establish our requirements and her needs. He was incredibly attentive, caring, helpful and informative. The service has been exceptional and the appointed carers have listened and are slowly building a mutual trust together with my mother-in-law to ensure her well-being and comfort in the ‘Winter’ of her life. We are thankful and grateful for the heartfelt service and care provided by a team of people in order to permit a certain peace of mind to a family who live far away from their loved one. Long may it continue during these harrowing times.

Strategic leader with over 15 years of experience in Health and Social Care. Tinga has qualifications from Oxford University in Entrepreneurship Studies, He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Aston University and is a Member of the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He has a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Computing (Information Systems) from Wolverhampton University, and he holds a level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People Services.
I have worked for Nexus Care Services since July 2018 and have progressed from payroll administrator to the Business Development Director and Finance Manager within 2 years. I have worked in the Healthcare industry for 10 years+ and have extensive knowledge of the industry from finance, recruitment, compliance, and sales. My role within the business is to develop and bring on new clients as well as managing all financial affairs with duties including payroll, invoicing and debt collecting. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and see my future only with Nexus.

I have worked for Nexus for the last two years and progressed from being a part-time coordinator to managing a team of coordinators. I have been working in healthcare for the last 5 years, in a diverse range of industries (NHS, private, pharmaceutical), and I bring to the company a Media degree and extensive expertise in communications and problem-solving.
My role within the company apart from managing the team of coordinators is to manage the rotas for our Sutton Coldfield clients and carers and to make sure the day-to-day business runs like clockwork.
