Such a professionally run and totally reliable, family business!
Mum had been experiencing some difficulties coping at home and was prone to falls too, which was a real worry!
She was initially quite resistant to having carers in the house but within a few weeks she quickly came around and now,
wouldn't be without them!
We have a mixture of 3 or 4 carers and Mum is very fond of all of them. They all go above and beyond their duties and it gives the rest of the family such peace of mind knowing that these carers will arrive on time and stay for the whole duration of the call time. They have literally never let us down!

Nexus supported a friend of ours who was struggling at home and from the first point of contact, I was struck by their professionalism and promptness of service.
My friend has a care call every morning now to set her up for the day and she really looks forward to them arriving always on time, to
get her dressed and sort out her breakfast.
For someone who was very reluctant for carers to come in, it has been nothing but a positive experience and her life is much improved for it.

We have just started with this company and I must say the level of compassion and care which has been shown to my mum has been lovely. Nothing is too much hassle and they have gone above and beyond! If there are any issues or anything to add onto care plans I have a point of contact and the
communication has been brilliant! Thank you so much so far with everything!

When Mum was unexpectedly discharged from hospital into a Care Home after a stroke, we needed to quickly set up a care package so she could come home. We were lucky enough to be referred to Nexus who promptly came out to discuss our requirements, a plan was put in place and Mum was able to come
home, where she wanted to be. That was nearly 6 years ago!
In that time, Nexus has considerably grown as a company but the level of care continues to be of the highest standard. The office staff and carers are friendly, professional and flexible, nothing is too much trouble. During the recent bad weather, when many people had the opportunity to work from home, the carers didn't let their client's down and soldiered on in the snow.
We cannot recommend Nexus more highly!

All the carers I have met have been lovely and my mother is very happy with all the girls, as she calls them.
The office staff answer the phone quickly and are very helpful. Having the rota with times and dates of the carers is very helpful.
The carers are respectful to my mother and very caring,
letting me know if they have any concerns. I have recommended Nexus to 2 friends.

My Mum needed a care package for support after after an unplanned stay in hospital. We were arranging care for the first time and it seemed a bit of a minefield to navigate but the team at Nexus were supportive, helpful and responsive.
The care was set up at short notice and was carried out
with patience, turning up when the said they would every time. Sometimes they helped Mum with small household chores or making sure she took the correct meds or was eating properly or sometimes that she had a friendly face to combat loneliness.
I live a long way away and my more local brothers work unpredictable shifts. The care provided by Nexus took a weight of all our minds - I would absolutely recommend.

Nexus has been supporting my mother over the past 12 months making daily morning visits. They have provided an extremely reliable and efficient service. All of the carers are very pleasant and helpful and there is good communication between staff and family members. I would have no hesitation in
recommending Nexus.

My husband had excellent care by Nexus three times a day for about two months, during which time some of them became almost like family and he looked forward to seeing them. They always cheered him up and I could usually hear laughing and chatting while they were with him. Some of them even came to
his funeral which demonstrates how real the care was. Prior to setting up the care I had tremendous support and help from one staff member in particular which was much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I came across Nexus Care through my work, as I used to source packages of care as a broker.
Nexus was excellent in all aspects from a professional level and we always received great feedback from families. Nexus provide a morning care call every day and helps Dad with getting up washed, dressed and
set for the day. It is nice for both my mom and dad to see a friendly face every morning and they always include mom to see if she is ok too. The care has been in place for nearly two weeks and Dad already has his favourite carers, one staff member in particular but they have all been lovely. I now have the peace of mind that there will also be someone checking in with my parents every day first thing. They treat their staff well and it shows through the care my father receives and the professional manner and kindness you receive from director level to carers.
Could not recommend them highly enough, 5 stars.

Nexus has been looking after my cousin now for 3 months, and I can only praise Nexus for the excellent care and attention my cousin receives from the care team, who are very compassionate and very understanding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nexus to anyone who would require care.

My nan was only with Nexus for a short time but after having such terrible experiences with other care companies prior to this, we instantly felt relaxed. The care staff and management team all put us at ease, they had a good eye and reported what we needed to report. They always ensured my nan was
cared for even when she was challenging, it was so lovely to drop in on our cameras and actually watch them interact with her and actually get around her dementia. The documentation was also helpful for us to refer back to.
The manager has checked in with us during my Nan being in hospital a number of times and this meant so much to us.
A big thank you to all of the team for the care you provided, the reassurance and taking some of the mental and physical challenges we were facing.
I strongly recommend Nexus Care (I am a domiciliary care manager for another care company and I cannot fault them).

I've had Nexus Care for a few months now and incredibly pleased with not only the carers, but the office staff and management. Everything is what a care firm should be and, alas after a few troublesome companies, Nexus are a very welcome breath of fresh air. It's reassuring that there are still
companies such as Nexus that see the service user as human, not a profit line. Very much recommended!

When my father took a nasty fall on his local high street, he broke his right arm and was unable to take care of his daily personal hygiene routine and dressing himself. He is a very proud, intelligent and fiercely independent man so approaching the subject of home care was not easy - despite the
fact he is 88 years old. I called Nexus and within 24 hours one of their staff members came to meet my father and assess his needs. He explained that all packages were flexible so Dad could change the schedule of visits around his appointments where needed. Dad is a private man and was slightly nervous about having female carers, so initially Nexus arranged for a male carer to be with him as much possible, but Dad soon relaxed as he became familiar with the female carers who were so respectful of privacy and dignity. From a personal perspective, I can’t thank Nexus enough as they have enabled my dad to keep living independently whilst coping with a broken arm and I know they will be there for the future when needed.

I found Nexus to be kind, caring and professional towards the care and support of my late grandparents. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a carer. At a time when things felt a bit challenging, they made everything just feel a little bit easier.

The carers in her care team are always timely, friendly, kind, caring, attentive, diligent and professional. They deliver an excellent

Our 94-year-old friend has been supported by Nexus Care Services in Lichfield since the summer of 2022, initially providing daily visits. We're so pleased we found this care team who now provides twice-daily visits due to a deterioration in her dementia during the winter.
We've met several of the
team, been present during care visits and dealt with the manager and other office-based staff who are all lovely while remaining professional. Very kind and caring. We are reassured that if there are any concerns or issues, Nexus will be in touch immediately. We trust them to accompany her to appointments and to take her shopping each week, if she is well enough. She's been on a couple of trips organised by the care team and really enjoyed these as a carer is provided to ease her participation.
Our friend struggles with her mood, particularly during the winter months, and she has coped better due in no small part to the care she's received at home.
We would highly recommend Nexus.

Very happy with everyone that has been to give us their support, helping my husband to shower, helping me with shopping and cleaning upstairs and helping me change our beds. Everyone is very kind and helpful and we look forward to everyone that calls.

Nexus Care Services have provided care, support and companionship to my mum since October 22. They are an amazing company that totally understands and works with us to provide to meet my mum's needs and therefore enable a better life at home - I always promised I would do everything to let Mum stay
at home. I have seen a marked improvement in Mum’s health since the team has been with her.
