Nexus has been looking after my cousin now for 3 months, and I can only praise Nexus for the excellent care and attention my cousin receives from the care team, who are very compassionate and very understanding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nexus to anyone who would require care.

I've had Nexus Care for a few months now and incredibly pleased with not only the carers, but the office staff and management. Everything is what a care firm should be and, alas after a few troublesome companies, Nexus are a very welcome breath of fresh air. It's reassuring that there are still companies such as Nexus that see the service user as human, not a profit line. Very much recommended!

When my father took a nasty fall on his local high street, he broke his right arm and was unable to take care of his daily personal hygiene routine and dressing himself. He is a very proud, intelligent and fiercely independent man so approaching the subject of home care was not easy - despite the fact he is 88 years old. I called Nexus and within 24 hours one of their staff members came to meet my father and assess his needs. He explained that all packages were flexible so Dad could change the schedule of visits around his appointments where needed. Dad is a private man and was slightly nervous about having female carers, so initially Nexus arranged for a male carer to be with him as much possible, but Dad soon relaxed as he became familiar with the female carers who were so respectful of privacy and dignity. From a personal perspective, I can’t thank Nexus enough as they have enabled my dad to keep living independently whilst coping with a broken arm and I know they will be there for the future when needed.

I found Nexus to be kind, caring and professional towards the care and support of my late grandparents. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a carer. At a time when things felt a bit challenging, they made everything just feel a little bit easier.

The carers in her care team are always timely, friendly, kind, caring, attentive, diligent and professional. They deliver an excellent service and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thank you Nexus.

After a fall, my mother needed urgent care at home. Having used Nexus Care Services in the past for my father I did not hesitate to contact them again and again, they stepped up and filled our needs. Within a matter of days, a reliable rota of carers was in place and as we navigated the next few weeks we were able to work with Nexus to tailor their service to our needs. They are kind and responsive and above all else, my mother likes them and now looks forward to them coming. Really could not praise them enough.

Nexus has provided occasional care services for my parents for 6 months now and we are very pleased we found them. The carers are on time and very efficient during the short period booked. Excellent work. Definitely 5 stars and recommend the service. Their social team at Nexus Events is also excellent and provides a much-needed break.

The Nexus Care staff were professional, understanding and flexible with my mother, who found it difficult to accept that she needed help. It meant she could stay in her home a little bit longer before moving to a care home. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone who needs help at home.

Mom has had the carers for a few months now and has always been pleased with the care given. They always stay for the full allocated time and treat her with respect and dignity. All the carers have been friendly and mom feels comfortable and at ease with them. I also like the way that the company communicate with me. It was a shame there were so many different faces, she felt a bit lost when it came to names and times of appointments fluctuated which made it a bit unsettling for her.

Despite the difficulties of Covid, my friend always gets her two most important visits every week – personal care. The other visit – cleaning – is also invariably completed.

I have met several of the carers myself and have been impressed.

My father undertook all liaising with Nexus. Since his death, I have liaised and always found it easy to contact and any liaise has been efficient and responsive. Mum has had a more varied number of different carers than I feel is optimal but she has felt most of them have provided a very good, caring service. The only improvement would be if she had more regular carers she likes best.

My friend utilised the services of Nexus Care Services for around 7 years. She was one of their first clients. Nexus not only helped her with personal care but also arranged ongoing support from the Council such as equipment to help her in daily life and also advocacy services. As the years went on she required more personal care and assistance with cooking meals and washing etc. She also enjoyed meals and fun days out with carers. Nexus became her family whom she adored right until the very end. Sadly, she passed away peacefully at the age of 98 in Dec 2021 with all of her favourite carers right by her side. She always spoke very highly of Nexus.
