Coming Together for a Cause – Macmillan Coffee Morning 2025

At Trust Homecare, we’ve always believed that we're more than just colleagues,we're a community. And last Friday, 26th September, that spirit truly came to life as our team joined thousands of people across the UK in taking part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning, a nationwide initiative to raise funds and awareness for those affected by cancer.

Despite the short notice, our management team worked quickly to organise a warm and welcoming event right here in the office. The break room was transformed into a cozy café setting, where the smell of fresh coffee and a colourful display of cakes invited everyone to take a well-deserved break.

From store-bought favourites to homemade classics, the table was filled with sweet bites that brought plenty of smiles. Alongside the refreshments, we also had word search activities available, adding a fun and relaxing element to the morning that everyone could enjoy.

More than just tea and cake, the morning was about connection. Staff gathered for casual chats and simply enjoyed one another’s company. It was a lovely reminder of the strength in our everyday interactions and how small moments can have a big impact.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised a meaningful sum for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that does incredible work helping individuals and families navigate life with cancer. Every pound donated helps provide medical, emotional, and practical support to those who need it most.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part, who donated, helped set up, or just joined us for a cuppa. Your support and kindness made the morning a real success.

Let’s keep this momentum going and look forward to more opportunities to come together, give back, and continue making a positive difference, both in our workplace and in the wider community.
