When Madeline finished her A levels, she wanted a job that made a real difference. After helping her elderly neighbour, she joined Abbots Care and discovered how rewarding care work can be.

Now 19, she supports people across her community to live independently. The role has challenged her and taught her resilience, but she says it has also helped her grow and see life differently.
