This week, Julie, a valued member of our Lytham Homecare Support Team, enjoyed a wonderful day out supporting one of our lovely ladies, also called Julie, on a trip to Knott End!
The day trip was planned after they discussed the famous Lowry statue near the Knott End ferry slipway. When the opportunity arose, they decided to make a full day of it, and it certainly did not disappoint!
The weather was kind, the views were beautiful, and there was plenty of time to enjoy a stroll, take in the fresh sea air before lunch, and admire the artwork that celebrates the legacy of L.S. Lowry. Both Julies shared how much they enjoyed seeing it in person after talking about it recently.
On the way to lunch, they had another fun adventure, going postbox spotting to admire the charming crochet toppers that decorate the local postboxes. Each one was full of colour and creativity, sparking conversation and laughter along the route.
It was a truly special day spent together, full of smiles, laughter, and good company. Outings like this are a wonderful reminder of how meaningful shared experiences can be, helping people to stay active, connected, and involved in the things they enjoy most.
At Willowbrook Homecare, we’re proud to see our dedicated team members creating moments like these, where care, companionship, and community come together to make every day that little bit brighter. #AdventuresOfJulieandJulie
