A home is more than a place to sleep; it holds the routines, memories, and comforts that help each day run smoothly. Our Live-In Care Services allow you to keep hold of these familiar parts of life with reliable, personalised support.
What does live-in care involve?
Live-in care means a Care Professional stays in your home to provide continuous support and friendly company. It offers an alternative to moving into a care home, allowing you to remain in surroundings that feel right for you.
Each care plan is created with your routines and preferences in mind. From your morning habits and how you like your tea, to medication timings and favourite meals, your Care Professional will help keep life steady and comfortable.
Your Care Professional requires their own room within your home. A care day includes ten hours of support. They work 12-hour shifts, with 2 hours set aside for their own rest. Live-in care can feel especially valuable during the winter months, when shorter daylight hours, icy paths, and cold weather make getting out and about more difficult. Having someone nearby for company and practical help can make winter feel far more manageable.
It is also completely flexible. If you prefer to resume hourly daytime visits once spring arrives, we can adjust your plan as needed.
Daily support that makes a real difference
Live-in care covers the full range of daily tasks, from practical assistance to friendly companionship.
Personal care may include washing, dressing, and mobility support.
Help around the house can involve light cleaning, laundry, and preparing nourishing meals, keeping your home tidy and comfortable.
Companionship is central to live-in care, and helps clients remain socially active and part of local life.
Health and general well-being are also closely monitored. Care Professionals keep track of everyday routines, notice any changes, and liaise with families or medical teams when necessary, which provides consistent reassurance.
Why live in care suits rural and semi-rural areas
Some of the communities we serve in West Sussex often rely on strong local neighbourhood ties. Live-in care allows people to stay in their homes, surrounded by pets, gardens, and familiar scenery, while still receiving the dedicated care they need.
For those living in places with limited shops or transport links, having a Care Professional present brings stability and the comfort of knowing help is always available.
A helping hand when you need it most
Live-in care can transform your day-to-day life. It is not just about practical assistance; it also brings renewed confidence, comfort, and reassurance. Whether you or a family member needs companionship, help with routine tasks, or more specific care, we will work with you to create a plan that fits your needs.
