Radfield Home Care has proudly launched its festive season of community engagement with a special Christmas dining experience for residents of The Fountains Independent Living Development in Ormskirk. The event reflects Radfield’s ongoing commitment to supporting older people to live independently, remain socially connected, and enjoy a high quality of life within their community. Twelve residents were accompanied to The Grand in Southport, where they enjoyed a superb three-course festive meal in elegant surroundings. Guests were warmly welcomed with complimentary arrival drinks provided by The Grand, whose hospitality team delivered exceptional service throughout the afternoon. The outing forms part of Radfield Home Care’s wider mission to enrich the lives of older people by facilitating meaningful social activities and opportunities for community involvement. One attendee shared:?“It’s so lovely to eat here in The Grand amongst friends. We all look forward to these coach trips with Radfield Home Care, who support people living independently like us at The Fountains. We can’t wait for 2026 to enjoy more of Radfield’s wonderful trips and community events!” Karen Berry, Manager at The Fountains Independent Living Development, highlighted the positive impact of the event:?“While my primary role is to oversee the maintenance and smooth running of the building, I also consider it essential to ensure that residents remain happy, active, and engaged. Activities such as this promote a strong community spirit and contribute significantly to health and wellbeing. We had a truly fabulous afternoon at The Grand, and it is a privilege to work in partnership with Radfield Home Care. We are extremely grateful to Radfield and the sponsors involved. I would also like to extend our thanks to Charlton Mini Coaches for providing the transport.” Radfield Home Care owner, Dave Bellis, added:?“It was wonderful to see residents enjoying themselves as we approach the festive season. We are proud to support older people who live independently, helping them to age well and remain active members of the community.” Radfield Home Care extends its sincere appreciation to Charlton Mini Coaches and The Grand for their valued collaboration in delivering an exceptional experience for local older people. This event marks the beginning of Radfield’s programme of festive initiatives designed to celebrate, uplift, and connect older adults across the region.
