It was a pleasure to welcome Daisy Cooper, MP for St Albans, to Abbots Care head office this week. During her visit, our team shared how they organise care rounds and maximise daily capacity to deliver a responsive and efficient service.
They highlighted the level of planning, problem solving, and day to day coordination involved in supporting large and complex commissioned care packages, and how providers like Abbots Care adapt to meet changing needs.
Daisy also joined one of our care workers on two community care calls, seeing firsthand how we support people to continue living independently at home. She also met members of our wider team across the organisation, including Peggy and Betsy, our office dogs!
