Home Instead Senior Care, the homecare provider specialising in companionship and home support for elderly people, whose local office is based here in St Helens has been awarded a prestigious national award for their homecare service.

The award in the Homecare Provider category was made to Home Instead at a glittering ceremony in London in March which was part of the prestigious Independent Specialist Care Awards.

The Awards, organised by healthcare information specialist, LaingBuisson, celebrate outstanding innovators and performers in the UK’s specialist care sector.

Speaking about the award, Charlotte Smith of the St Helens office said, “It is fantastic to receive this national recognition for the care we provide. The team here in St Helens take great pride at being part of such a national success story.”

After collecting the award, Home Instead CEO Trevor Brocklebank, paid tribute to the company’s 7,000 caregivers , “The winning of this award would not be possible without the considerable commitment of every one of our offices across the country who share a common set of values and an ethos for quality, empathetic care.

“And, of course, we never forget the dedication of our CAREGivers who are delivering our very special blend of companionship and personal care day in, day out.

“At a time when care is all too often in the press for the wrong reasons, it is great to have the opportunity to celebrate the companies, and their teams, who are delivering an exceptional service and making a positive impact on people’s lives.”

The judges recognised the many things that make Home Instead different, including one hour minimum visits, the matching of CAREGivers and clients, the focus on continuity of relationships, world class client satisfaction levels and the bespoke training delivered to the company’s caregivers.
