Investors In People Silver -

Bluebird Care Ltd has demonstrated the requirements of the Investors in People standard and, as a result of this assessment, has shown continued development and commitment to achieve the Silver accreditation as an Investor in People.

Bluebird Care Northampton and Daventry is based in Daventry and Northampton and provides domiciliary care and live in care support in these areas. Listed in 2013 established in April 2011 as part of the Bluebird Care franchise group they have 30 staff employed working as part of their local community.

Bluebird Care were first accredited as an Investor in People in July 2013. Since then they have continued to work with the framework of Investors in People to develop their people practices using the framework to support key initiatives.

The aspirations for the business are to continue their journey of development and growth whilst preserving and constantly improving the high standards of care they pride themselves in providing. The business has experienced some difficult times but has remained focussed on its priorities and longer term plan and is now making substantial progress in delivering their aims.

Staff describe the Company as a great and a brilliant place to work, explaining that they are given opportunities to be involved in the business development as well as the day to day work, feeling that their thoughts and feedback are listened to and valued as part of the development of the business. The office team is relatively new but demonstrates strong working relationships where people are encouraged to try new things and work together to achieve the best outcome for the business.

The Company Directors were keen to use this assessment to benchmark the Company against the Gold standard of Investors in People and gather feedback on the progress the Company has made since the first assessment. Their aspiration is to continue the development journey and focus on improvement to continue to deliver high quality and professional care services to the areas in which they operate.
