The award for Large Business of the year, sponsored by the Chichester Chamber of Commerce & Industry was awarded to Guardian Angel Carers in recognition of their growth and dedication to quality in expanding their business, despite some challenges along the way.

Guardian Angel Carers, who celebrated their fifth birthday in March have developed from a modest office situated on a houseboat in Chichester Marina, with a handful of clients and the Managing Director making care visits. Five years on, they employ over 80 carers and serve clients throughout Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey. Their business has an excellent local reputation and over 60% of new business is gained from recommendations by their clients, their carers and local health professionals.

Johnston Press South hosted the local business Awards and as a winner, Guardian Angel Carers are automatically shortlisted for the prestigious Regional Awards this October.
