Baroness Sally Greengross chairs this one-day conference which focuses on excellence, research and innovation in care and service development for older people.
Guest speaker Professor Jackie Bridges, Professor in Older People’s Care, Southampton University, will discuss Innovation in Practice; Dr Caroline Nicholson, Senior Lecturer, Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery will give her views on enhancing older people’s experience in acute care.
Sir Keith Pearson, Chair of Health Education England, will chair a panel debate on ways to future proof the workforce for older people, and cohort members of King’s first Older People’s Nurse Fellowship Programme will present findings from their Quality Improvement Projects.
