View Full Details of Community LifelineWithout the excellent support from the wonderful carers at Community Lifeline my auntie could not have remained at home until her passing. Each carer demonstrated compassion, empathy and a breadth of skills in order to look after my auntie in a way that she deserved with her dignity always at the forefront of their care for her. Their 'duty of care' was evident as I was always kept informed of any concerns. The Managers were always approachable and there to support me. Aunties care was increased to 4 times a day (double handed) in recent months and this was always delivered punctually. I will always be eternally grateful for their professionalism and the expert care that they provided for my auntie and will never be able to thank them enough. I would highly recommend Community Lifeline.
The Community Lifeline carers at Longfield were wonderful. My Mother in Law really looked forward to them coming. They were caring, some exceptionally so, treated my Mother in Law with such kindness and respect. When my Mother in Law needed more intense care they were there for her and stepped up to carry on doing a wonderful job. The Manager and office staff were also very good ensuring that my Mother in Law was well cared for. Visiting her regularly to do a review and in last few months when she was getting fail visiting her to ensure she was completely comfortable and getting the care that she needed. I am personally so grateful to everyone at Community Lifeline Longfield my Mother in Law could not have had any better care.
My mother has received excellent care and support over the past 12 months from Community Lifeline carers, who seen hand-picked and very well trained for their roles. My mother initially had help in the mornings, but since April also for evenings. The carers have mostly been very punctual, are willing to help in any way, are easy going, friendly, approachable and trustworthy and have gone out of their way to give my mother any help she has needed. The rota issued each week told her who would attend to her, and when changes were needed to either add in a session, or cancel one, this was facilitated faultlessly. My mother wanted to live independently to the end of her 98 years and Community Lifeline has enabled her to do just that. I cannot fault their service and as a family we are so very grateful for the support they provided to my mother and also to us. I wholeheartedly recommend this care provider. Thank you all.
My Aunt has been receiving care from Community Lifeline for 9 months, initially to help her take medication. More recently and unexpectedly she has had some health issues where I needed to get extra care for her at very short notice. This included all day and all night care. The staff at Community Lifeline were exemplary in organising this extra care quickly and efficiently. They listened to my wishes, kept in touch with me, responding promptly to emails and phone calls. I felt reassured that my Aunt was being very well cared for during a particularly stressful time. I think I have possibly spoken to all the office staff at some point and have found them all to be very professional and extremely helpful. Although I have not met any of the carers, my Aunt says they are all lovely ladies. I have spoken to two carers by phone and they were polite and helpful. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Community Life Line to others. Thank you Community Lifeline.
I was pleased with the immediate positive response for care provision by Community Life. The plan was to be on holiday from 17th to 21st March. My requirement was care for my wife who is fairly immobile. My initial contact was with the Manager who listened to and fully understood my needs and requests. It was an excellent introductory conversation. A written plan was produced to cover the week, including meals and overnight support - plus general care and conversation. The carers involved performed to a first class standard at all times. This was confirmed by my wife and also my daughter who was included in the programme. I would not hesitate to recommend Community Life, to others. We also use their services three evenings a week. # Well done to all concerned.
My Dad was cared for by you in his last year of life. Every carer who saw him was friendly, professional and so gentle and caring. It was a difficult time for both my Mum and Dad who up until then had been fiercely independent and self-sufficient. To have "strangers" in their home was hard for them, however, they soon came to see the carers are friends, looking forward to their visits. The Carers were there to help with my Dad's everyday care (washing etc) but they also took the time to speak to my Mum and ensure she was coping OK. Their care ensured he was able to be at home when he passed which was what he and my Mum wanted. I cannot thank you enough for your care and assistance, there are no words that can express my whole family's gratitude to you. You even visited my Mum to see how she is coping following my Dad passing. Knowing how well you cared for my Dad until his last breath is a big comfort to us all at this sad time.
My father has been receiving care from Community Lifeline since September. Initially my father was hostile towards the carers because he did not feel the need for them. The carers have worked hard to gain his trust and now he is allowing the carers to assist him, with some tasks. I've been pleased with the reliability and punctuality of the care visits. In terms of value for money, it is difficult to say because the carers could and are willing to do more but my father is still not willing to embrace the full level of support that the carers could provide. I have had a few admin problems but when brought to the attention of the office staff, these issues have been resolved. The carers and office staff are very friendly and helpful and overall I am pleased with the service provided and would recommend Community Lifeline.
We have been receiving care assistance since the end of October 2024 for my father. There have been some small issues in getting used to this service. However, every concern we have brought to their attention has been dealt with instantly and in a professional manner showing due care to both my father, the client, and mother who is the main carer. Two of our regular carers who visit, not only have my father's well-being in mind at all times, but went over and above their duties at Christmas in recognising my mother was struggling. They stepped in and advised of a number of services which we were not aware of. One carer volunteered to make referrals to various different organisations all of whom contacted us promptly. These organisations have visited or telephoned and have been extremely helpful. Where necessary putting systems in place. We are very thankful for this intervention. It is also encouraging to know they can liaise with my father's GP where necessary and give other support.
Community Lifeline have provided 24/7 care for my brother in his own home for the last 17 years. Being severely disabled, both mentally and physically, he has been entirely dependent on them for all aspects of his life. Throughout this time, Community Lifeline have been professional, safe and compassionate ensuring that his quality of life is the best it can be. Carers are prepared to go above and beyond by working extended shifts to enable him to take advantage of suitable facilities away from his home. With his family not living locally, there is frequent communication with the team allowing us to be confident that his needs are always met, with any concerns being raised. We have no hesitation in recommending Community Lifeline.
Overall the service has been reliable and some of the staff have been exceptional. The flexibility and responsiveness of the booking system has also been excellent as has the regular review meetings, where service tailoring and improvement has been timely and successful. I would however be extremely dissatisfied should the premium rates charged for this service, not be reflected in above industry benchmark wages for the employees who provide it.
I cannot praise the wonderful people at Community Lifeline enough. They cared for mum through her last few months and gave her dignity and friendship to make a difficult process easier. Mum has sadly passed now and again I must thank the wonderful ladies who came to her funeral yesterday, and for the continued support they have shown to my dad. We are so grateful to you all and we would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone in need.
The team in Longfield cared for my dad through a difficult period following a fall and prolonged hospital stay. They were always kind, considerate, respectful and friendly. They handled him with dignity, understanding and compassion, and he liked them all and looked forward to seeing them. Sadly, he has had to go into a nursing home now, but even when they helped us to get him ready, the care and personal commitment shone through. As a family, we also felt supported by them and want to thank the team
Your office staff are excellent administrators and communicators. Your visiting care staff have made a world of difference to our Auntie. She is much calmer and happier.
We have been using Community Lifeline for a few weeks now and Dad appreciates the help and company. I particularly wanted a smaller local agency so that my dad would have a core of carers who would understand his needs. Dad is very deaf. It gives me peace of mind that someone is seeing him since I don’t live locally. He is always misplacing things and they help him try to find the item. He looks forward to their daily visits.
My wife is well looked after by the carers, all of whom are very nice to both of us. They always ask if there is anything that they can do for us before they leave. Since we have started using the service the visiting times seem to have slipped a bit and are later in the mornings. I hope this can be sorted out and we can return to the earlier visiting times. We understand that there are other people who need this service more than we do and are very happy with things generally.
The staff and care from the staff is exceptional and very professional and nothing is too much trouble. They always make my husband feel safe and at ease with himself. We cannot praise them highly enough and would just like to say a very big thank you to them all.
The carers were friendly, polite and respectful. They highlighted any medical concerns they noticed back to the office, who then contacted me and the doctor if needed. My mother was well looked after by them which gave me and my family peace of mind. They always left Mum with a drink and tidied up after themselves.
Some carers are better than others but, generally happy with the care provided. The office could be run more efficiently, sometimes they have sent me the weekly care plan for a completely different client! When something unexpected crops up, the office should be able to phone my mother to warn her that her carer is running late. This rarely happens, however.
Very happy with the care and reassurance that your carers provide - all very pleasant and experienced. It's very nice how Dad interacts with the carers which provides him with company. He loves chatting about his army days and holidays gone by, which keeps his mind active whilst I'm at work.
The carers were all very caring, helpful and respectful of my mother. I can't fault them, to be honest. My mother also regularly commented on how nice and friendly they all were. I would recommend anyone to use this care company.
