View Full Details of Bluebird Care Worcester & WychavonI have had Bluebird care for 8 months following a diagnosis of cancer at the end of 2024 and 5 weeks in hospital. I cannot praise enough the care during that time. All the Care Assistants were caring and efficient and were willing to move at my pace as I became more able to do things for myself. They gave me back the confidence I had lost when I had the surprise diagnosis.
Bluebird Care were great with my aunt and uncle, both who have dementia. The supervisor and on call team were efficient and responsive, always doing their best to resolve urgent and challenging issues. The ladies were lovely and very caring towards my relatives and were so willing to help with all the various aspects of care and helping in the home. Due to the particular requirements of dementia, our aunt and uncle's needs were very specific and the bluebird ladies listened and worked well with our aunt and uncle. We are very happy to recommend Bluebird Care.

Bluebird were a godsend when I fell and broke my hip. My main job is looking after my wife who has Alzheimer's, so my temporary incapacity was a real problem. The Bluebird helpers were fantastic and responded quickly from day one and took the pressure off me. They even did the manana jobs that I had been avoiding! I recommend this friendly service to anyone who has the need for help at home.
We have been using Bluebird in Evesham for a few years now for an elderly relative. We have found the Company very good at what they do, offering advice when needed and excellent support. Both caring staff and staff in the offices are kind and considerate.
Mum has had live in care from October 2024, and we couldn't be happier. The carer is always cheerful and very communicative. If there are any problems she sorts them out. She has become a companion for mum, but still gives her space.
I have Bluebird care carers and they are all very good at their job and would not know what i would do with out them, they help me have a shower as I shake a bit in the shower and they help me in the morning and the evening to get dressed and undressed as I have osteoarthritis in my shoulders and is very painful. I am also walking slowly but hope to get better with the help of the lovely carers. The carers are all angels.
Using Bluebird Care has been a real help for me. My wife sadly suffers from vascular dementia and as her carer I was able to cope, but nine months ago I fell ill with severe kidney problems .Bluebird Care have been wonderful. The carers that come and get my wife up and ready for the day are all So kind and considerate. I have no hesitation in recommending Bluebird Care.
From the individual carers who visit to the MD we have found all the people connected to Bluebird care to be outstanding. Care cannot be taught it is a personal quality and all the staff at Bluebird are lovely people who care. This enables them to give an exemplary service to clients.
Once I got used to having someone new in the house as early as 7am, it has proved to be very helpful. The bed has been made, commode emptied ad any washing up done. Then, I find it sufficient to keep the carer occupied. A full body wash or hair wash doesn't take long and in the winter months, a walk outside or to do shopping isn't feasible. Changing to a later time isn't OK because it would mean dressing then getting undressed to have a shower or wash. As present, I am not steady enough to have showers and when I am, I shall need help.
Outstanding support from Bluebird, the Care Supervisor is outstanding, and my father's main carer is excellent. Very satisifed with the care provided, the communication, and support provided by the entire team. Would highly recommend.
We cannot praise Bluebird Care enough. The carers are amazing, kind, efficient and friendly. The office staff too are very helpful and kind and we feel as if we are being treated as if we were part of a family. Thank you Bluebird.
We moved from another care company to Bluebird because I needed more personal care. The quality of staff is outstanding, they are professional, caring and friendly, and I would seriously recommend Bluebird, as I already have!
After experiencing a very poor service from an alternative provider, moving to Bluebird Care was like a breath of fresh air. The onboarding process was easy, professional with great care taken in agreeing a care plan that met my mother's needs. The service was exemplary, the staff caring and the communication exceptional. The app provides complete transparency to the family. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Bluebird Care to any family, simply outstanding.
My father, who was 89, had increasing symptoms of later-stage Alzheimer's dementia and it had reached the time that we had to make some decisions as to his future care and well-being. We knew that he would be much happier in his home environment and so ruled out nursing homes for the time being. Bluebird Care had been recommended to us and so we contacted them to find out more about the whole 'care' process, from that very first phone call, initial assessment at home and throughout his many months of excellent daily care, Bluebird Care were incredibly professional and reassuring. We committed to using their services for a month just to see how it worked out for everyone and never looked back, continuing on until he recently, sadly, passed away. Bluebird Care enabled my father to remain in his own home which was something that meant so much to our family, also something that is often overlooked was the huge relief that it gave my mother who had been struggling on for years.
The nurses and the office team are brilliant. My mum is wheelchair-bound and is either in bed or in her chair, having the nurses round means I have peace of mind and am no longer worrying about her care. I am kept informed but never bothered. They enable Mum to stay in her home, surrounded by her comforts and memories. The quality of services provided by all at Bluebird are fantastic, they have become part of the family. No hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
Mum was reluctant to the idea of carers coming to the house and we had no idea what level of care she required but, after contacting Bluebird Care we had an initial visit where we just talked about our situation and things we were finding difficult. We discussed how they could help and things they could do to assist and were reassured that it would all be at a pace Mum was comfortable with. Mum soon built up connections and very strong relationships with all that were involved and gave her such personal care. She looked forward to the twice-weekly visits where there would be much laughter and chatter. We were really impressed with the service, efficiency and caring approach of each and every member of the team both in the home and also those we had contact with over the phone and emails. Sadly Mum passed away in February but we take solace in the knowledge that her last few months were filled with joy and laughter and Bluebird Care played a part in bringing that to her.
My parents, both in their 90s, have used Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon for many years now. They started with a few hours a week to help with the heavier chores, gradually increasing the hours as they became frailer, to the situation now when they have 24-hour care provided by Bluebird. The live-in and night carers are wonderful, they communicate well with the family (we all live some distance from my parents) and knowing that they are in place is such a relief to us all. The management team are also fabulous and very understanding of the issues of dealing with strong-willed elderly people. As my parents have become much frailer, physically and mentally, the carers have dealt with the issues attendant on ill health with compassion and grace, allowing my parents to retain their dignity as far as possible. The exceptional care provided has allowed two elderly, frail and bedbound people to remain in their own home. I cannot recommend Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon highly enough.
After becoming more frail, my elderly Mum engaged the services of Bluebird Care as she wanted to remain in her own home for as long as possible. All the carers have been wonderful with Mum and have looked after her very well. After initially being quite nervous about 'strangers' in her home, she became very friendly with her carers and looked forward to their daily chats and laughter. My brother and I were always reassured that Bluebird Care would note any changes in her health and mental well-being and take the appropriate action to keep her safe and well. Mum is now in a Nursing Home as her mobility has further declined but, at the age of 94, Bluebird Care enabled her to retain most of her independence in her own home. I would highly recommend Bluebird Care Worcester and Wychavon to anyone looking for expert care for their loved ones.
Used Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon from February 2022 until November 2023 for my widowed mother, living alone with Alzheimer's. Overall, the service was impeccable; everyone was fantastic from the first enquiry right up until the day we moved Mom into residential care. Nothing was ever too much, as expected, we encountered a couple of bumps along the way, and these were ironed out immediately and professionally. Would easily recommend it to anyone who needs in-house help or companionship. Keep up the good work.
