View Full Details of Seren Support Services Ltd (Cwm Taf)My mum is waiting a consult for memory clinic NHS. Unfortunately she needs carers to give her meds, as she can't remember when or if she's taken them, so they are locked in a safe. Twice the safe has been left wide open, worryingly, as she has expressed the wish to not be here anymore, which her GP is aware of, truly mind bogling they can do this negligence at its best. She is supposed to have a shower twice a week, not much to ask really, being 90 she needs help, yep no shower now for weeks. Management of Seren aware, but they obviously can't be bothered to answer numerous emails sent by my siblings, so hence the review. Good luck anyone using Seren it's absolutely appalling care!!!!!
Would just like to say how happy myself and Mum are with the carers that come in every morning to help Mum wash and to give her breakfast. Recently we have seen a lot of new faces and they have all been lovely with Mum, they all treat her with care and dignity. I have given a five-star review if I could give more I would. Well done to all the carers that come through our front door.
We are grateful and impressed with the quality of care provided by Seren and in particular the 2 male carers who provide the majority of the care for our parents during 4 calls per day. We also appreciate and place great value on the fact that we work as a collaborative team with the carers and the management team to adjust and optimise the care provided on an ongoing basis. Thank you, team Seren for all you do.
Staff always go the extra mile to help whether the carers or office staff. They are always very friendly and kind and willing to adjust things if needed. Would recommend it to anyone needing home care in this area.
I cannot fault the carers for the care they are providing for my mother, the majority are friendly, caring and accommodating. We would prefer longer calls because 15 minutes per call is not enough time for my mother's needs.
