As with most families, the decision to appoint a care company and ultimately to have a live in carer for my mother in law, was not something that was taken lightly. Alina was recommended to us through a friend and after comparing various providers, we appointed Alina back in the summer. The whole process was very professional and we felt comfortable with the care package that was suggested. My mother in laws needs were taken very seriously and addressed accordingly. Since then my mother in law has had a permanent carer and a separate carer to cover when her permanent carer is on leave. Both of which have shown enormous professionalism whilst giving her the support and personal care that she needs. It is clear to see that they have built a wonderful relationship, something that we could only have wished for. Alina as a company has been very approachable and we could not recommend their services highly enough.

We were so impressed by with Alina Homecare from the very the outset. A member of the team spent 2 hours with myself, my sister, and my Mum to explore my Mum's particular needs and to provide a tailored plan for her. It was so reassuring as finding suitable carers can be daunting. They have more than surpassed our expectations! Although only supporting us for a short time, we trust them completely. All the carers, without exception have been sweet, kind, friendly and very professional. My Mum is usually a very independent lady, and they have respected this and shown her so much kindness and encouragement. They have also been very supportive of my needs as Mum's primary live-in carer. As a result of the fantastic care that Mum has been given, she is well on the road to recovery. We would have no hesitation in reaching out to them again should the need arise. Thank you so much for everything - you really are an amazing team!

Alina cared for my husband and now they are caring for me. All the carers who come are kind; good listeners; but also good communicators, creating the opportunity for interesting conversations. They are willing to help by doing the kinds of what might seem small tasks, but which really make my life easier. I am really impressed by the training they receive. They nearly always arrive at the time scheduled and if there is any delay, the client is informed. They work together so well as a team and all are conscientious about writing up notes for the app. This is so useful for family members. This is a well run, well managed unit, led by two people who understand the needs of the clients and also those of the people they employ. The are experienced care workers themselves and are always ready to step in themselves when necessary.

My mum has received excellent personalised care from every member of staff. The staff are all so kind and supportive. There is a real sense of good team working amongst all the staff and the office is responsive to any questions.

The care that Alina has shown my mum since she came out of hospital is excellent. The staff have been very caring and compassionate supporting her through the loss of her husband (for whom they had also provided excellent care) The communication through the app works well so that I know how mum is doing after each visit. The care is flexible and can be adapted to suit her needs as she recovers. I would definitely recommend them.

Everybody at Alina have been so friendly to deal with, and nothing is too much trouble for them. All of the team of carers that visit my mum treat her with kindness and respect, and their interactions with her always seem genuine. They take an interest in her life and allow her to take an interest in theirs. The manager and another staff member in the office are also amazing and they go out of their way to help in any way they can. Picking a company to help care for someone you love can be a daunting descision, but we are very pleased that we found Alina to help look after our mum.

I have been with Alina for six weeks or so. I am very happy with the new management team at Alina in Leatherhead and all the carers that have enabled me to go swimming on a regular basis. I can truly say that they all care about what they do and how they do it. This has meant that the carers truly felt supported in their new roles because shadowing was undertaken every time before they undertook the tasks required on their own. The carers are very happy to help and are not rushing between visits. The management team listens to me and the carers and do all they can to help. I would recommend them to anybody willing to make a regular commitment.

Professional, efficient and supportive from the start of the process to the end of the care needed. Extremely personable staff and more importantly all the team were so kind to my mum and dad. They both were so helpful and just what we needed as arranging care was new to us. Highly recommend.

From the first meeting a particular staff member I was in good hands. He is so compassionate as well as being helpful in a practical way. Mum agreed to one hour a day which was put in place very quickly. Unfortunately, her health deteriorated quickly and she sadly passed away. The visits she had were a bonus for which we are grateful. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for care for their loved one.

My sister, brother and I are so grateful to you (the team managers) and all of the wonderful carers who take such care of our dad. Their daily visits have made such a huge difference to all of us. My father was a vastly intelligent, fit and active man until vascular dementia affected him so cruelly, and while my mum has had to accept her own age and limitations (however reluctantly!) and accede to needing help, neither she nor our dad is quite ready for him to go into full-time residential care. Your support is what allows them to remain reasonably independent at home. It also means that my siblings and I can spend time taking them out and helping with other daily needs, in the knowledge that some of the pressure at home has been lifted from our mum. You are all so kind, friendly and supportive to them both, sometimes in difficult circumstances and we just hope you all know what a massive difference you make and just how much we appreciate it, every single day.

Am very impressed with the support and dedication that our dad is receiving. The care staff are all friendly and respectful. Dad has built up a rapport with them and trusts them to meet his needs. His care needs are regularly reviewed and discussed with him. Our dad is a very proud gentleman who up until July 2023 was totally independent, it has been a transformation to depend on others to assist him now. However, the team have been very supportive and gentle with him.

The care my mother has received has been very good. All her likes and dislikes have been taken into account. All carers attend on time and have good empathetic skills. They are well trained in Mum's needs, and any new carer is introduced to her before commencing duties.

My husband loves every one of the girls that come in, they are just so caring and cheer us up no end. If we haven't seen someone all day, seeing them come in brightens our day, having a laugh. They always go above and beyond.

My parents had been reluctantly heading for a decision on some kind of home care, over a 6 month period and the manager and her team, have been exceptional in diplomatically supporting and adapting to that decision which rapidly developed into live-in care following a 5 week stay in hospital for my mother, following a fall, which triggered more advanced dementia. Now a month down the line, my parents love the team and I feel confident in putting my full trust in them. A kinder more thoughtful service of care, you couldn't ask for. A heartfelt thank you, from me.

Reliable, consistent service providing great support. The caring staff do their utmost to help and make Dad feel comfortable although communication with him is often difficult. Much appreciated by us all.

Although we have only been using Alina for a few weeks, we are very pleased with the service. The girls are lovely and very friendly and helpful. Not only that, my father has taken to them - not only do they help him physically, but he really likes the companionship that the girls offer.

Superb team, they have made my life easier. All staff are caring, trustworthy and easy to get along with. Safety and attention to detail are at the forefront of their focus. The levels of professionalism are off the charts and I would highly recommend them.

The team at Alina are truly exceptional! We struggled with getting the right help for Mum, as she’s a very private person. The manager and her team have gone above and beyond! Not only supporting Mum, but also me! They have helped me navigate the care system, and have been right there for me when I needed support. I’m really not sure what we would do without them. Great job. You are truly a professional team!

Can't rate Alina highly enough. The carers are incredible, so kind, so efficient, and always cheerful and positive. My father, who is 94, adores them. No problem is insurmountable for them and I feel my father is safe and well cared for. I also feel the carers actually do care about him, which is worth more than anything. Alina is expensive but you get what you pay for and they are worth it.

Very impressed with Alina Homecare! My father needs help at home as he's now 94 yrs so I had a ring round for help and thankfully came across Alina Homecare. They have been so helpful and supportive. It’s a very daunting task having to find care for your relative and everyone has different needs and there are a lot of agencies out there so finding the right agency is scary. The carers are polite, caring and work extremely hard to make sure my father is safe and cared for properly. Can’t rate highly enough how good they are. Give them a ring and speak to the manageress who will help you with all your needs and questions. Thank you to you all for putting my mind at rest and knowing when I walk away and leave my father in their hands that there are no worries and will contact me if there are any problems, nothing is too much trouble.
