My brother and I both live several hours away from our mum who is having visits from Silver Assist on a daily basis since a hospital stay early in 2025 which resulted in mum having a pace maker fitted. We are reassured by the presence of the carers on a daily basis and find the App updates really
helpful in terms of keeping up to date with mums wellbeing.
All the carers have been very supportive during our engagement with Silver Assist. Mum is convinced that she does not need any assistance in her own home and have all been really patient when it comes to mums somewhat dismissive attitude at times.
Assistance with medication on a daily basis is also very reassuring.

I can't praise Siver Assist Homecare enough.
We started with them in early September this year and they are amazing. The manager visited to talk to mum at first as mum didn't see the need for help but I was at breaking point myself. Mum has Dementia and Alzheimer's.
They supported me with getting
things set and the carers are wonderful. Mum is treated with respect, dignity and great care. All the staff I have come across are genuinely interested in mum , her history and family and friends. They report any concerns about mums general health to me . The app they use is fantastic each visit is detailed with what they did, talked about what mum ate. Their outstanding care has ment I have been able to go on holiday and not worry. Has ment I can concentrate at work and have time to spend quality time with mum each day instead of daily tasks.
If you are looking for a care provider for a loved one or yourself you will not find better anywhere.

My mother recently started with Silver Assist and we wish she had done it years ago. The service is exemplary.
Mum had become rather depressed due to her previous carer not giving the standard of care that we would expect from them.
From day one of having Silver Assist, mum has been a changed
person, so happy and cheerful and back to her good self.
I have had the pleasure of meeting five of her new carers and they are all amazing.
They all bring something special in their own ways.
One of the carers has also got mum out to visit other friends and mum is so much happier because of this.
It was mums 89th birthday yesterday and her morning carer bought her a card and flowers.
As I said, those little extra touches make all the difference.
When the carers arrive at mums flat, their whole focus is on mum. They leave all their own problems at the door and their only concern is for the health and wellbeing of their clients.

Talk about life changing, we have been fortunate to have been with Silver Assist for 9 months. The standard of communication, knowledge, support and kindness go over and above expectations.
The pyramid effect from the management down has been amazing during difficult circumstances.
The carers
are freinds visiting as Mum believes she doesn't need help, unaware of her memory loss through Altzheimers and vascular dementia.
I couldn't praise our team highly enough with their attention to detail, knowing the small signs that are signals to Mums needs at that moment.

I came out of hospital unable to cope with my personal and most household issues. I have three care sessions per week and it is a game changer for me. I am always clean and tidy and well-dressed. The carer helps with a bit of food preparation and makes my bed and would do anything that I need
help with. This service is the best thing to happen in our area.

Always pleasant, friednly and efficient. Without breaching the bonds of mutual respect. The management has an almost magical ability to sum up professional medical support, home visits from doctors and recently a thorough 50-minute examination and consultation with a helpful doctor in the surgery,
unheard of in my experience. I am very grateful and impressed.

Silver Assist have been visiting my elderly mother who has dementia since December 2024 to provide companionship, shopping and assistance with meal preparation. The manager visited my mother to talk to her about her interests and what she liked to do and matched her with 2 carers. So far it seems to
be a perfect match - it's good that mum knows 2 carers that can cover for each other for illness and holidays. As a family, we are very pleased with the service provided by Silver Assist. The app is great.
Silver Assist also provided exemplary care for my elderly father for several months in 2023 - this was a very different type of care as my father had limited mobility and many health issues as well as dementia - Silver Assist carers helped him with getting up and dressed, washing and showering as well as an evening bedtime visit.

Whilst we have only been using Silver Assist for a couple of months, to care at weekends for my mum (100 ) and my Dad ( 96) we have been exceptionally impressed by their professionalism. We already had a weekly carer for mum and dad but I was anxious to ensure cover for the weekends. The advice we
received from the manager and her team was excellant and I was impressed by the smoothness of the administration and the friendly support we received when setting things up including visits which involved mum and dad to assess their needs and preferences. The carer is experienced and has settled down quickly and mum and dad have really taken to him and seem at ease. The response times to queries has been first rate, on what we have experienced so far I would recommend them as first rate care providers who go the extra mile to support their clients and their families.

Mum has Alzheimers and We were recommended to try Silver Assist by the warden at the flats Mum lives in.
I contacted the manager, who along with her team has been brilliant. Initially we just had 2 afternoons a week companionship, this soon had to rise to 7 mornings a week but it is never too
much trouble to change things around.
The ladies who form Mums care team are wonderful and Mum has become very fond of them, visits are still mainly companionship but with SilverAssist having responsibility for some of Mums medication daily and prompting her to take the rest.
There has even been a couple of occasions when Mum has had a particularly bad day (I am 300 miles away) and an off the cuff visit to support has been arranged
The difference the manager and her team have made to Mum (and my peace of mind) is enormous and I cant thank them enough.

All the caters that attend to my mother-in-law do so with the utmost care and attention. They treat her with respect and carry out their duties efficiently and thoroughly. They are friendly and professional at all times and complete the care plans clearly.

Outstanding care that is holistic and extremely well organised. I feel that the staff make the time to get to know not just the client but the family as well. We have a really supportive team around us who give my grandmother the best care. They support us in making sure she is comfortable and safe
in her own home, and most importantly allowing her to maintain her independence.

I've been really happy with the level of care that Mum's received since she started using Silver Assist. We are all new to receiving support from a homecare provider and I was initially unsure of how to source the right level of support and how it would help. However, the initial set-up was very
simple and Mum has a lovely support worker who helps in the kitchen and takes her out, as well as providing companionship.

From beginning to end Sam and the team have been outstanding, we feel so lucky to have found them.
Assessing my mother/father's needs was conducted via an initial visit. Followed by a subsequent meet-the-carer session, which then led to a very
comfortable transition to regular carer visits. The whole process was very simple and communicative.
We now have regular carer visits and this is working absolutely perfectly for us. Thank you to the manager and the team.
