My dad has Alzheimer's
During the last 5-6 months his health both physical and mental has declined. Despite me communicating my concerns no recent formal review was undertaken. The last one being 12 months ago. There was no communication, collaboration or adaptability from the management, between
staff, and within the care plan. There was no opportunity to discuss what worked well and what needed changing. leaving him with unmet needs. When I highlighted these with management I was met with a rude, defensive & unprofessional manner.
Eg
'Why don't you move in with him then'.
'We can't shave him he's on anticoagulant medication'
There had been an unhealthy dialogue in some carers comments, colluding to a culture of conspiracy which I felt was building to terminate their care of him.
Some carers seemed to lack specific and essential dementia training.
I feel let down and betrayed when he's vulnerable. They gave 2wk notice & left. Operating a business and financial model not one of care & compassion

With 2 fractured wrists, I could do little and was throughly miserable, I needed a lot of support. But as I was recovering and rehabilitatiing the support needed to decrease over time, as I became modilized. A certain amount of ingenuity had to be introduced to allow this to happen, and it did with
ideas and experience from staff. But it was a learning experience for all of us and although serious was hilarious at times too. I don't need them now but if any good came out of breaking to wrists finding FLC was it and I miss them.

The Angels of Forever Loving Care have been part of my parent's life for around 19 months, and the care, love and dedication they have shown my dad as his health deteriorated, and his needs changed, was embraced with so much love and kindness, it helped us cope as a family and enabled my dad to die
at home peacefully which was his wish and the wish of my mum and our family. They brought a smile to my dad and my mum right up until the moment he died. He looked forward to their visits and the stories he shared and listened to, which brightened up his day. Despite 5 weeks in bed, his care was amazing, his skin remained beautifully intact and he was able to continue to be the immaculate smart gentleman he had always been right up to the end of his life due to the care of these amazing ladies. There are not enough words to cover the amazing impact this wonderful team has had on my dad and also my mum and our whole family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My husband is wheelchair dependent and has severe mobility problems and memory loss. The carers are gentle and do everything possible to include him in decisions and encourage him to cooperate in any physical care they need to give. They treat him with dignity and safety. They listen carefully and
join in with any activity. He feels happy and safe with them. They are willing to do anything necessary to help with his care.
The management are kind and helpful. Their organisation is excellent and willing to adapt visits etc if necessary.
We could not ask for more.

We are very happy with the level of care that Forever Loving Care gives to our mother. Every time we see Mum, she comments on how pleased she is with her carers. The team's communication is excellent, and they are swift at letting us know if there are any concerns, similarly, they are quick to
respond to any problems that we report to them. As well as the professional, warm and friendly care they give to Mum, my sister and I have been particularly impressed with the way the carers speak to Mum. The carers act as a seamless efficient team; we are very pleased to have their care.

My sister and I are so thankful that we have Forever Loving Care looking after our mother. We both live abroad, and to know that our mother is looked after by carers who are professional, attentive, loving and kind, is a huge relief to us. When we are in the country, we spend many weeks with our
mother, and consequently, have got to know the carers personally. I cannot fault them on anything and would highly recommend this home care.

The staff were caring, polite and friendly to grandad and he enjoyed their company very much. It’s always hard having people come into your home to assist you but grandad really looked forward to having them visit. Staff were reliable, on time and incredibly professional but at the same time, it
didn’t feel clinical or impersonal. It was very clear that they really did care for grandad. They provided great support to him and comfort in his own home. This allowed his family the confidence to support him to live independently for as long as possible as per his wishes.

Forever Loving Care have cared for my father in law for about 18 months. All staff involved in his care were highly thought of by my father in law; he was always delighted to see them. Their care work has always been extremely professional, in their care for him and in communicating with family.
During the last few weeks of his life, they went above and beyond increasing their hours and doubling up staff to care for him so he could remain in his own home. I have no reservations in highly recommending this company.

I can’t commend this organisation highly enough. They are caring, diligent, reliable, professional, skilled and dependable. My father has been in receipt of care from Forever Loving Care for several years and it has made a huge difference to his quality of life and general well-being in that they
have hugely enhanced both.

My mum needed support at very short notice when her physical and mental health deteriorated in September. Forever Loving Care were able to quickly put a team together to meet her needs and offered a very professional service until Mum went to live in a nursing home. All carers were sensitive to her
needs and recognised her right to choices whether during personal care, food preparation or general domestic support. The team were a mixture of very experienced carers and some new starters but were well trained/skilled to engage Mum in a confident and supportive manner.
