All the staff at Helping Hands in Sale, Greater Manchester have been excellent in setting up the service for my mother. My mother now looks forward to the weekly visits with her new 'friends'. This will be invaluable as we likely move towards needing more support in the coming months.

Helping Hands Sale have been supporting my Mum since April 2024. Mum is 85 and has arthritis in her knees and some short term memory issues and the carers make a very positive impact on Mum's quality of life. Mum had never had regular carers previously and Helping Hands have been great in finding carers that have been able to form a positive relationship with Mum which is much appreciated. The carers all have cars and are able to help around the home or take Mum to the shops or to appointments. Mum really enjoys the visits. We started with one 3 hour session per week and it has worked so well that we have gradually increased it to three 3 hour sessions per week. A few weeks ago a health issue arose and Mum needed additional support. Helping Hands were brilliant and were able to provide additional visits on an ad hoc basis so that Mum had a carer visit every day. This support has enabled Mum to recover and get out and about again. I highly recommend Helping Hands Sale.

I recently asked Helping Hands Sale Manchester to come and help me look after my 94 year old Dad. My dad is always praising the carers, he says each one of them is so lovely and show him such kindness. At first I was worried about bringing carers in to help as my dad had never had anyone in before, but from the very beginning the staff at Helping Hands helped to alleviate my concerns. It brings me great comfort to know that when I can't be there, my dad is being looked after and more importantly that he is happy. Thank you so much.

Helping Hands started to help my Mum back in Nov 24, she has dementia and needed extra support to help her stay safe in her home. The carers are absolutely brilliant, they treat my Mum with the utmost care and respect. I never thought she would allow people to come into her home and help her, she's a very proud lady but the carers have become her friends now and it's such a weight off my mind to have their support. As my Mum's needs have progressed, the manager proactively came to me with a revised care plan to support her additional needs. This also means my Mum gets her favourite carers more often, shout out to one carer in particular (a great singer according to Mum!) as well as 3 other carers (many more amazing carers). Special mention also to the care coordinator who is so quick to respond to requests and always happy to help. I can't express how much Helping Hands supports my Mum and our family, I honestly don't know how we would manage without them

Helping hands are fabulous in caring for my mum who needs a helping hand owing to her memory worsening over time. They provide just the right level of support to give my mum independence whilst helping when needed such as doctors appointments, cooking, reading gas meters, reading letters when she does not understand what it is asking of her and most importantly being a friend to my mum. They are like a second family to me as I live in Australia and can only help from afar. If you are looking for care for you or a loved one I recommend you consider Helping Hands.

This review relates to Helping Hands Home Care agency care for Chorlton, Manchester. My elderly aunt has been a very satisfied client since I requested their input around 3 years ago, as I live a considerable distance away from my aunt. The agency has provided shopping input tailored to my aunt's needs on a regular basis as she became increasingly immobilised with advancing age. The service provided was always on time, personalised, compassionate, super-reliable, and complete value for money. In fact, the carer who last attended my aunt recognised she wasn't well, and as a direct result, I was notified and able to contact emergency services that admitted my aunt to hospital for urgent care. Staff are thoroughly trained to provide a far superior service. Special thanks to one member of staff who has liaised with me as my aunt's nominated representative - this member of staff's professionalism and efficiency in organising services at Helping Hands is just excellent. Thank you sincerely, truly life savers, in all sense of the words.

We had a review this month and I was able to take that the opportunity to praise staff who care for my dad. It is a minefield trying to find a company and carers that you can trust with your loved one. They are so kind, respectful and show a genuine interest in the person they are caring for. I cannot praise them enough. Thank you Helping Hands!

I have received professional, expert and friendly care tailored to my changing needs for the past 2 years. Regular assessment of my care needs is performed both face to face and by telephone to ensure that the changing needs are met. Communication with the office is exemplary and always extremely efficient. The rota of visit timings with staff names is emailed weekly to clients to keep them informed. Clients are regularly reminded by email of current and new services available to improve their quality of life. The staff are always professional, empathetic, caring and friendly. They speak well of the management team who take care of their well being and Health and Safety. New staff are given induction by a specialist trainer in the expert care and standards provided by the company. The Sale branch continually strive to improve a caring and expert experience in a safe environment for its clients and staff. In the future, I am confident that my care will be in safe and caring hands.

Helping Hands is an excellent company. It is very well led, has a lot of customer feedback avenues, which allow tailored, person centred care. We have used other companies and think this company is the best. The senior staff and carers are wonderful to achieve best outcomes. The pricing structure is superb. No request is too much trouble to look into. The approach is honest and open. The regular reviews to ensure expectations are being met are genuinely in place. This involves regular communication and meetings. Other companies have issued a feedback form, as a box-ticking exercise, with zero change. This company is the first to act immediately and the carers are empowered to do their job as professionals who enjoy their work. They are well supported by the management team whose care of their staff is evident in the care they then take with their work. I highly recommend this excellent company.

A very professional company. Excellent care provided for our mum over the last 18 months. No hesitation in recommending Helping Hands to friends and family. We have peace of mind knowing our mum is getting a lunchtime meal Monday-Friday. Very approachable staff. Queries dealt with efficiently, always help at the end of the phone if we have any concerns and great peace of mind for the family knowing Mum is cared for.
