View Full Details of Diversicare@homeI have been using Diversicare since April when I needed a lot of help with personal care after breaking my shoulder. I can't recommend them highly enough - the carers are so good and really enjoy their work and put the needs of the client first. This is my first experience of home care and I was at first feeling nervous about it, but I soon realised I was in very good hands. They are helping me to regain my independence, which is very important, and I feel am being looked after by friends. Communication between carers is good as they keep notes which are shared on my records. If I have any problems I can always speak with the admin staff in confidence and they are very understanding and helpful.
I could not have been happier with the care and consideration given to my mum for the last three years of her life, up until the day she passed. Nothing was too much trouble, they cared for her as if she was their own. They gave her medication and checked everything with me. Leanne stayed with my mum until she went into hospital for the last time. Informing myself and contacting paramedics before I could get there. I will always be grateful for the care, professionalism and help given. I also felt throughout I was cared for too even after my mum passed. I would recommend this company 100%.
The staff are always exceptional with there help in terms of my demands as not being local it can be often quiet challenging. However they always continue to do there upmost to provide these requests where ever possible. In terms of caring for my mum when I first looked into a CareHome for my mum there was nothing in the area to match what we have for my mum and I am extremely grateful for this.Mum has been with you now for over a year and you have not disappointed from day 1.There have been challenges at times but they do get resolved.
I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for the assistance of Diversicare staff with my wife's care over the last eighteen months, (she recently passed on). They provided respite care after a major and disabling stroke, and also supported her with her dementia symptoms, (which developed in the aftermath of the stroke). Their support enabled me to get a crucial full night's sleep on a regular basis. The staff were lovely, caring, genuine people who my wife grew very fond of. They were very person-centred in supporting her to live the lifestyle that she wanted. They were flexible and open to receiving instructions from me, so that there was a consistency of care provided while they were looking after her. They provided some lovely personal touches, like bringing her a bar of her favourite chocolate one day, Birthday cards and flowers. We (the family) were also very touched when two of the team showed up at my wife's funeral. Excellent care - lovely people, highly recommended!
We have been using diversicare since an emergency referral in 2022 for my grandmother initially. We met 2 of the loveliest ladies and from day one they have supported us and been there through all the ups and downs of my grandmother's life. They really go above and beyond, and its most certainly the little things that make all the difference such as playing songs my grandmother would dance and sing to when she was younger. Due to dementia she deteriorated and when the family struggled to engage my grandma to move or to eat, they were there to support her and sing with her and chat about various fashion and local places to eat while providing her with the most dignified care. When my grandma passed in 2023 they were there supporting us and advising us and its a time we would not have gotten through without their support. We were then able to get care for grandfather and insisted diversocare took over. They all work so hard and are such lovely people whom care about the family's fully.
I can not recommend diversicare enough. From the first meeting with Leanne I was made to feel at ease and she gave me such good advice, especially as caring for a elderly family member was new to me. Each and every carer that came into my Aunt's home were respectful and got to know her extremely well meaning they could care for her to their best ability. Diversicare were always at the end of the phone when needed (even at late night or early morning) and gave me reassurance when I was worried about my Aunt, Toqeer the owner shows so much compassion for both the service user and their family and I appreciated everything he did for my Aunt. Each and every person working at Diversicare go above and beyond and I could not thank them enough for the care they have given to my Aunt and myself.
For my mother, the whole team were quite simply, fantastic. Every member of the care team who visited my mum in Barnoldswick genuinely cared for her. They always kept me updated and mum always looked forward to when 'one of the girls' were due to visit. Our service with Diversicare started with a weekly visit a few years ago right up to 4 visits daily to mum in her own home before physically needing to be in a care home. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the team and genuinely always wanted to do everything they can for her. It says a lot about the commitment and care of the team that even months after the services has stopped (because she went in a care home) that I still got messages from the carers asking how she is getting on and some of them still visit her socially today in the home. For a son wanting the best for his mother in her latter years, I can't thank Diversicare enough. 100% recommend them every single time!
This company are amazing. They have been caring for my uncle now for over 12 months. He absolutely loves this company. Each and every person I've met have such passion and pride in the work they do. They not only help my uncle with his daily needs, appointments, medications and following through with daily tasks, they extend the help towards family and making sure they have full support to support their loved one/ones. They really do go above and beyond to make sure that the people they care for are well looked after. They keep you well informed with the care package that's in place, they help with professional teams and make sure that a fully supportive care package is in place. Overall, for us, they've been brilliant
Diversicare provided end of life night care for my mother for 6 weeks, with 2 members of staff providing the actual care. From the very first contact the management and staff of the company were extremely helpful, competent and very person centred, keen to support us in the best way possible. They were not very local but staff always arrived on time and adapted to mum's needs on each shift with kindness, professionalism and importantly in mum's case interest and fun! Despite the circumstances we built up an excellent relationship with management annd all the staff we came into contact with. We have dealt with care companies in various ways, over the last 30 years for different family members and would not hesitate to recommend this company.
