View Full Details of The Armstrong Care Company LtdI am severly disabled and in my mid 40s, I have required care my entire life, so I have a great deal of experience with carers and care agencies. So when I say the Armstrong Care Company is the best Care agency I have ever been with, that should tell you a great deal about the standard and quality of care they provide. The nature of my disablility means the care I need is very specific, so consistency of care is very inportant to me which the Armstrong Care company provides. The owners of the company are kind, decent people and the carers they employ are friendly and seem to genuinely care. I can't recommend this care company enough.
As I'd had no experience with care companies I think that I have been extremely lucky to choose the best one straight away. The service is very professional, helpful, and friendly. The carer is knowledgeable and always able to help with advice in negotiating the system. Also as a business, they are very fair regarding their charges and time allocation. The belief that care is a necessity and not a luxury impressed me as it shows that person-centred care is at the heart of Armstrong Care Co.
I am extremely pleased with the care my husband is receiving from The Armstrong Care Company Ltd. Nothing is too much trouble. They are caring, supportive, understanding and reliable. I thoroughly recommend them.
Care is not rocket science or difficult, and everyone knows instinctively what care is needed for those who need it. What makes a good care agency is NOT their ability to meet poor CQC or council standards - it's their commitment to provide a transparent, honest quality care service, which sadly most care agencies I have spoken to or had dealings with simply fail to understand. Thankfully Armstrong Care has demonstrated they are a Quality Care Agency in every sense, which has made my life a whole lot easier and better for my mother, too.
I was impressed by the manager from Armstrong Care right from the initial meeting when we were deciding who to invite to help my parents. He was very quick to pick up on the fact that my mum and dad at 87 and 88 are still very capable and not looking for someone to 'take care of them' as such. Although I had arranged the meeting and asked lots of questions, the manager was keen to engage with and involve my parents throughout the discussion. And he emphasised that he would be there to help them be as independent as possible in a way that suited them best. His client-centric approach has been working well with Mum and Dad so far and we are all very happy with the service he provides.
