View Full Details of Every Care at Home LtdFrom the staff, I was encouraged to feel in control regardless of family support. Staff are respectful of personal care, and I have never felt intimidated in their approach. Nothing is too much trouble when it comes to anything I might need or help with. So worries are eradicated, a great relief.
The small team of carers who visit my sister twice a day are reliable, very pleasant and agreeable to developing the framework of care that is needed. My sister is physically very fit and requires help with tasks rather than having them done for her. She is enjoying the company and the assistance in trying to sort out her belongings, finding things and generally being helpful. Also, I am happy to know that my sister is now eating better food and regularly. And knowing that someone is with her twice a day and that I would be contacted if there was a problem. Understanding the concept of time of day is becoming a major issue for my sister so the regular visits are helpful - also in regard to her loss of memory/engagements/where things are/where she should be etc. The carers can remind and help her. Also, the communication with the lead member is excellent, always happy to receive and act on information I might need to send and I like to see the reports written after each visit.
The director has been an invaluable source of compassionate and knowledgable support throughout what has been a very tough period. The director was able to put in place almost immediate support when Mum experienced a rapid decline and as we adjusted to her new level of need, the director advised on the options we had for continued care and very promptly and swiftly arranged for that package of care to be in place. The director was available at all times throughout this period and worked hand in hand with our family to offer the support Mum needed. Thank you to the director and Every Care at Home!
From the first meet and greet our provider has been superb! The manager is lovely and our carer has become a friend in a very short time. She is so friendly, caring and has a lovely sense of humour! Furthermore she is self motivated and does what she sees needs doing so that I can get on with my work. She even helps me when I am tired. I couldn't ask for more. My husband is so happy now.
We employed the services of Every Care at Home after my mum had a hip replacement. Although I was able to help with the practical aspect of her care (shopping, washing clothes, cleaning, cooking) we wanted help with Mum's personal care. This was provided by the director who quickly gained Mum's trust with her cheerful and friendly approach. The director backed this up with an efficient and professional service, calling the surgery and district nurse when needed and providing advice and help on medical issues. Her help at this time was invaluable and gave both Mum and I the confidence to allow her to continue to live independently while she recuperates. The service provided was of an excellent quality and good value for money, far better than the extortionate fees charged by nursing homes who provide a fraction of the care and expertise.
Just what we wanted/needed, the services of a lovely caring person. Helps with housework. Helps with care when needed of the patient, ie showering and washing hair. Where would we do without her. I love her smiling face and happy demeanour.
My main carer makes what could have been a daunting experience for me into a pleasurable experience. I look forward to her visits. She is always cheerful and caring, but efficient. She has sorted some problems that cropped up. I think I may be old school, but in my day we were proud of our uniforms, I was a physiotherapist. I think the nurses would look more professional in some type of informed uniform, maybe trousers and tabard. But I appreciate this may not be the image they wish to convey. Only a small point in a great package. I would not hesitate to recommend Every Care to anyone needing nursing help.
We've been really pleased with the care and support we've received from the Manager and Every Care at Home. We needed to implement home care quickly after a parent returned home from a hospital stay and the speedy response from the Manager was fantastic. We've found the compassion, care and communication with our mother was just perfect. We are so relieved to have such great help.
