The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association offers a lifelong commitment to thousands of visually impaired people. Guide dog owners pay a nominal 50p for their dog, and GDBA offers a feeding allowance and pays veterinary bills. Any visually impaired person aged 16 or over can apply for a guide dog. Guide Dogs provide many other services and facilities for visually impaired people, including training with a long cane, and low vision aids.
