Alston Lodge have looked after my mum for a few years now and provide her with the best, most professional care. They are happy to also care for her dog, and this was crucial when deciding who to use. The care package also enables me to have a sense of security that twice a day someone is there to make sure mum is ok.

The regular carers, who know the routines are good. The younger, more recent staff, are not as good because they aren't used to how things are done in this household, e.g. how my dad likes his coffee, so we leave notes. Me and my sister care for our dad (aged 100 years), and carers help us every day. We couldn't manage without them. This way, we can keep Dad happy in his own home.

Overall Experience

As a family, we are delighted with the care we receive. All staff who we come into contact with show us nothing but kindness, respect and genuine caring. Staff go out of their way to ensure that all needs are met and are very willing to do all they can to assist us. Every carer has been bright and cheerful, bringing news of the outside world when we can't get out ourselves. Really good value for money. All around great service.

Alston Lodge provide an excellent service. The staff are good at their job, caring, friendly and efficient. My aunt has had care from the company for over 18 months and we have been very grateful for the care she has received. Many of the carers have been coming for all that time so there is wonderful continuity.
