We have no complaints about any of the carers. They are all reliable, punctual, pleasant and are a pleasure to have around. They take care of my husband very well and it's important to us, to have the same "regular" team which on the whle we do have, his routine is quite complicated, with a lot to remember, so if "non-regulars" are sent, it makes it harder work for me but fortunately that doesn't happen often.
They all deserve higher wages for what they do! :)

This is the first time I've ever felt the need to praise carers that have visited my mum. I would like to say how much they have helped in mums transition from leaving the care home to coming to live with me in my home. It's only been about 6 weeks so far and the improvement in her personality alone is worth it. Mum isn't the most sociable of people and is happy with her own company but they have all got involved with the banter I have with mum to be as straight as possible and not to patronise or feel sorry in any way. They have showered her every morning which has been a godsend in itself , then 2 more visits at lunch and teatime when they get her ready for bed. Think we have met a lot of the staff now and can honestly say everyone has got on with mum and hopefully accepted the way we talk to each other but I must say Jess has definitely had an impact on her and has a great approach to mum and think gets the absolute best out of her. All the staff are fantastic in my opinion .

Briars care for my mum morning and night. Recently me and my brothers were away for 4 days and briars did a sitting service morning to night. Mum was really well looked after and enjoyed spending time with all the carers who looked after her.

The odd issue is with timing of visits, occasionally 7am visits, mum gets confused. Likewise, last visit 9.30am completely threw her (& dad)> It would be perfect to get a 9pm visit, then Mum would go to bed. I've always found office team helpful.

They make a big difference to Amy's quality of life and are always professional and friendly. They give Amy re-assurance and she doesn't have to worry when they are on duty. The office staff Suzie and Louise are brilliant and always try to accommodate any issues when they arise. I would recommend Briars we have used a few care agencies and this is by far the best one. Carers from Briars Homecare come in to see my MIL (93 years) 3 times a day. All the carers are lovely and very professional and make her feel at ease. They supervise her medication and personal care and always encourage her to eat (she''s a fussy eater with little appetite, so that is really important for us). They always have a chat with her about daily life too which is really nice. We were very worried about having carers as MIL isn't easy with strangers, but nothing is too much trouble and the service they provide has taken all the worry away.
The manager and all the staff in the office are also lovely, very knowledgeable and super helpful.

I was a client of Briars Home Care Services for approximately 10 months. I can honestly say they were the worst agency I have ever had. When I first started with them they could only offer me an 11 am morning call, they said it was only temporary and as soon as they could they would give me an earlier time, that never happened. Same with my bed call visit, 6 pm, 17 hours in stuck in bed is too much for anyone, especially someone like me who is still relatively young with 2 children. I was supposed to have been given one of their handbooks (by statutory regulation) I never received such a book.
The standard of staff training was extremely poor. This was evident when they brought down a metal bar on the hoist and it hitting me on the head. At least twice a week, frequently more either 1 or both carers were 30 mins or more late, often only 1 carer would turn up. I could go on but not enough space on here, the office kept sending carers I had barred. Strongly advise avoiding this disrespectful agency.
