Prompt attendance of all carers. All entertain my partner and encourage him in physical activities. Because of the varied natures of carers and their varied interests, they help to stimulate my partner's memories and recollections.
Crossroads help me on my day to day life, giving my family a break and allowing me to attend appointments and do the things I like. My carers are friendly and I appreciate everything they do for me.
Yesterday I was able to attend a very close friend's funeral a distance away because Crossroads provided cover for me. I am so grateful for this and for all the help from all staff.
My caring experience has added a whole new lease of life to my world, all down to the service with dignity that has been provided. The staff and managers cannot do enough to help with a standard of care that is second to none, coming up with solutions and activity ideas to enhance my life. Always on time and cheerful, listening to me to do things that brighten my day and my world.
An excellent service providing support with flexibility and advice when asked. Management very good and staff all with a pleasant manner.
Overall, I am very grateful for the service we received. I find I need the help they provide, especially now that my husband's dementia is progressing. It is helping me to care for him at home as long as I possibly can.
Thank you.
My mother has been one of Crossroad Perth's clients for 4 1/2 years. During that time she has always received excellent care, both 'personal care' and 'social care'. Both she and I are treated with respect and courtesy and she enjoys the time she spends with her team of ladies, who are regular, punctual and well-acquainted with her needs. The management/office staff work diligently too, ensuring that both their staff and clients benefit from a smooth-running operation.
I value the advice of Crossroads because I am confident that when I am out and about my husband is being cared for in a professional and caring way. This enables me to relax in my time of respite.
I could not praise this service highly enough! The various sitters are always prompt, cheerful, respectful and fun for my wife to be with. I appreciate the respite enormously. Everything I've said about the sitters applies equally to the management. Well done and please keep it up!
The service provided by Crossroads has been a blessing, I have found the staff to be kind, friendly and efficient. The service has allowed me to remain in my own home while encouraging me to do as much as I can for myself.
From the carer's point of view, the management try very hard to comply with any requests I may make and rotas are received regularly. Carers never let us down, even in heavy snowfall.
Very good service to my wife.
