I've been using Eden Country Carers a few months now, but my experience has been an excellent one & I can't thank them enough! The staff are always lovely & friendly, punctual, helpful & supportive & nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They treat me with dignity & respect in my own home, which
is important as a mum with a young one at home as my son feels comfortable around the staff as well. The highlight of my day is often seeing a friendly face and being helped to live happily within my own space again. They help me prepare meals - something I missed doing & to access the community again. They also help with personal care & to keep my home clean & tidy.


Their help has meant that I now have more energy to be present with my family - something I wanted from using this service - & in a few months I've gone from feeling like I'm barely managing to exist, to feeling like I am starting to live & get some of my life back again. A huge thank you to you all!

If I could give Eden country care 10 stars I would, the care, support and compassion the team have shown to my mum is above and beyond more than I ever expected. All the team treated my mum with dignity and respect. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Over a short space of time mum build a special
relationship with her care team. The office staff are always available to support and help especially with sorting out hospital issues. It takes special people to become carers and Eden country care are able to provide an outstanding service. I am so grateful to all concerned.

The care received was amazing friendly and professional with a personal touch, something you don't ever anticipate needing so a complete shock to find out you need that kind of help and support, however as above and more carers became friends in a short time and the dedication was 100% plus. Mam is very happy with the care she receives from the Eden Country Care team .She has got to know the carers very well and enjoys seeing them when they call on her and enjoys the chats she has with them. They have always been very thoughtful to her and are looking after her very well. If we ever have
any queries, the staff in the office are excellent too and always deal with things promptly.
We would definately recommend them to anybody looking for care provision.

My dad has recently started having at home care from Eden Country Care. He enjoys the chit chat, it gives him a chance to get to know the carers, this is new to him as he's never had carers before.
Dad is impressed by the standard of care and the efficiency and good timekeeping of the carers. He said
they always greet him with a smile and manage to find time to chat.
This is a competent care service and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others considering care at home.

Eden Country Care assist Mum to have a shower a couple of times a week.
They have been nothing but thoughtful, respectful and caring. They are never rushed and take their time to help Mum when she is finding it difficult.

Eden Country Care has been extremely supportive in caring for my mother for the last year. Having suffered a major stroke my mum has required extra support with shopping etc. which has been accommodated. The staff are very kind and work very hard in at times difficult circumstances.

Eden Country Care cared for my nana for over a year. The carers who came in and visited her were amazing. We can’t thank them enough for the support they gave both my nana and my grandad during what was a difficult time for us all. They worked hard and always came in with a smile. The carers always
went above and beyond to keep my nana’s spirits high.
I would highly recommend Eden Country Care to anyone looking for care for their loved ones. All of the staff, carers and managers went above and beyond to support us and in particular my nana. We will be forever grateful for their support.

I recently wrote a review but feel that I did not mention the actual care my daughter receives from her carers so would like to add the following.
The carers always enter my daughter's home with a smile and a cheery hello and greeting. They are considerate about her privacy and modesty and always
treat her with respect. I have never heard them talk about other staff or clients this maintaining privacy. They are very good at record keeping and following protocol.

Eden Country Care used to look after my dad when he lived at home.
Dad had complex care needs, and the team took their time every day to ensure that these needs were fully met - nothing was ever too much trouble.

The carers and coordinators at Eden provide a valuable and caring service through at-home care for my father and, before she died, my mother in their own home. They are compassionate and efficient, always taking time to chat and think about the little things. I live many miles away, and they will always
call me if there is any cause for concern. They are flexible and thoughtful about my dad's needs, and I especially appreciate the time put into training new members of staff alongside more experienced staff on the job so that they understand his particular requirements. We really appreciate Edens's professionalism, and it helps make difficult situations easier. I would highly recommend speaking to the excellent team at Eden if you need any type of at-home care.

As a Registered Manager, I oversee the management of our team. My name is Colette and I work closely with the NHS and Cumbria County Council to ensure that people who leave the hospital receive private nursing care in the comfort of their own homes.


Personally, I have experienced the challenges of caring for a loved one with MS and dementia. It's a difficult and emotional journey, but it has given me valuable insights that help me support our clients with compassion and understanding. I truly understand the importance of good quality home care services, as I have seen the positive impact they can have firsthand.


One of my passions is making sure our clients preferences and wishes are taken into account when they first join our service and during subsequent reviews of their care. I maintain contact with clients and am always available for a chat to discuss any aspect of their care. It brings me great satisfaction to help our clients live comfortably and with dignity in the comfort of their own home.

Prior to joining Eden Country Care, I worked as a teaching assistant for children with special educational needs, which sparked my passion for supporting others. This led me to apply for a role as a Home Carer, even though it was a significant departure from my previous work.


Initially, I was nervous about providing personal care, but with the guidance of experienced carers, my anxieties were soon alleviated. I have now accumulated eight years of experience working with a diverse range of clients, from young adults with Multiple Sclerosis to older adults with frailty.


Throughout my tenure, I completed Health & Social Care Diplomas at Levels 2-5 and consistently put myself forward for promotion when opportunities arose. In 2019, I was appointed Training Manager, and I have relished the opportunity to work with new team members and help them feel at home in their roles.
