In our view, the main issues lie with management and organisation rather than frontline staff. Communication can be poor, responses to concerns are often slow, and issues were not always handled with the compassion expected from a care provider. Overall, our experience doesn't reflect the reviews here

My wife is fully disabled and we have been using Eden Country Care since February 2025. The carers are all very professional, helpful and friendly and the company does everything it can to ensure that last minute changes can be accommodated (although we try to give as much notice as possible). We would highly recommend the company and it's staff.

I would reconsider Eden Country Care to anyone.

Setting up and organising my mother's home care was made easy through discussion and assessment of needs with the care team manager, my mother was involved throughout this process.

We have been using Eden Country Care Ltd for my mother for many months now. The staff always seem friendly, efficient and reliable; and my mother speaks highly of them. The leading carer has provided me with her mobile phone number, which means we can easily liaise if either of us needs to discuss an issue arising. This is especially useful given that I am remote from my mother's house whereas the care team is local. They were particularly helpful when I was abroad this month and nevertheless able to respond to changes in my mother's needs at short notice. We would recommend Eden Country Care!

I've been using Eden Country Carers a few months now, but my experience has been an excellent one & I can't thank them enough! The staff are always lovely & friendly, punctual, helpful & supportive & nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They treat me with dignity & respect in my own home, which is important as a mum with a young one at home as my son feels comfortable around the staff as well. The highlight of my day is often seeing a friendly face and being helped to live happily within my own space again. They help me prepare meals - something I missed doing & to access the community again. They also help with personal care & to keep my home clean & tidy.

Their help has meant that I now have more energy to be present with my family - something I wanted from using this service - & in a few months I've gone from feeling like I'm barely managing to exist, to feeling like I am starting to live & get some of my life back again. A huge thank you to you all!

If I could give Eden country care 10 stars I would, the care, support and compassion the team have shown to my mum is above and beyond more than I ever expected. All the team treated my mum with dignity and respect. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Over a short space of time mum build a special relationship with her care team. The office staff are always available to support and help especially with sorting out hospital issues. It takes special people to become carers and Eden country care are able to provide an outstanding service. I am so grateful to all concerned.

This is a competent care service and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others considering care at home.

They have been nothing but thoughtful, respectful and caring. They are never rushed and take their time to help Mum when she is finding it difficult.

Eden Country Care has been extremely supportive in caring for my mother for the last year. Having suffered a major stroke my mum has required extra support with shopping etc. which has been accommodated. The staff are very kind and work very hard in at times difficult circumstances.

The carers always enter my daughter's home with a smile and a cheery hello and greeting. They are considerate about her privacy and modesty and always treat her with respect. I have never heard them talk about other staff or clients this maintaining privacy. They are very good at record keeping and following protocol.

The carers and coordinators at Eden provide a valuable and caring service through at-home care for my father and, before she died, my mother in their own home. They are compassionate and efficient, always taking time to chat and think about the little things. I live many miles away, and they will always call me if there is any cause for concern. They are flexible and thoughtful about my dad's needs, and I especially appreciate the time put into training new members of staff alongside more experienced staff on the job so that they understand his particular requirements. We really appreciate Edens's professionalism, and it helps make difficult situations easier. I would highly recommend speaking to the excellent team at Eden if you need any type of at-home care.

I received home care from Eden Country Care whilst living in Appleby. The care and support were excellent and made a big difference to me and my well-being. The carers are kind, and professional and treated me with dignity. I wish they covered the area where I live now.
