My mum has MS, Dementia & had a bad stroke. Eden County Care visit her & my dad 4 times a day. They are our life-line and have become our friends. My mum sadly can't move or talk properly and they are amazing at understanding her needs and being Company for my dad. There has been heavy snow / flooding in town situations yet they still manage too make the calls on foot or with their wings as we believe that they are angels in discuise = totally commited we are very lucky too have these amazing people in our lives.

Although individual staff who cared for my parent were very kind and friendly, on occasions they did things that were not in accordance of their own policies and procedures, and actually went against national care standards, (for example, preparing food in a non certified premises). Not only could these things have resulted in my parent's health being compromised, but they did unnecessarily negatively impact in my relationship with him, and these things should NEVER have been done in the first place. I never actually received a satisfactory explanation of what actions had been taken, after this breach of food hygiene had occurred. My parent recently died, and, although I did receive a reply to the text message I sent to notify them of the death (I was too shocked to feel able to speak to anyone). I may be being a little naive, but, I feel a condolence card, or note from them might have been nice. It has left me feeling rather upset. Perhaps kindness costs to them!

I'm also very grateful for the willingness of staff to go above and beyond what they're contracted to deliver, as and when my dad might experience a small emergency at home. I'm far more relaxed about the whole business of organising suitable care for dad than I'd ever thought I might be - and that's largely down to ECC.

I find the care company very good staff are very polite and very helpful and knowledgeable they care for my husband and I have had no major issues with them they are very good in what they do they keep me informed at all times

Great company to deal with. Very accommodating with changing care needs and great staff. My mother really appreciates the flexibility of the staff in terms of their duties and the care and support she needs on different days.

In our view, the main issues lie with management and organisation rather than frontline staff. Communication can be poor, responses to concerns are often slow, and issues were not always handled with the compassion expected from a care provider. Overall, our experience doesn't reflect the reviews here

My wife is fully disabled and we have been using Eden Country Care since February 2025. The carers are all very professional, helpful and friendly and the company does everything it can to ensure that last minute changes can be accommodated (although we try to give as much notice as possible). We would highly recommend the company and it's staff.

I would reconsider Eden Country Care to anyone.

Setting up and organising my mother's home care was made easy through discussion and assessment of needs with the care team manager, my mother was involved throughout this process.

We have been using Eden Country Care Ltd for my mother for many months now. The staff always seem friendly, efficient and reliable; and my mother speaks highly of them. The leading carer has provided me with her mobile phone number, which means we can easily liaise if either of us needs to discuss an issue arising. This is especially useful given that I am remote from my mother's house whereas the care team is local. They were particularly helpful when I was abroad this month and nevertheless able to respond to changes in my mother's needs at short notice. We would recommend Eden Country Care!

I've been using Eden Country Carers a few months now, but my experience has been an excellent one & I can't thank them enough! The staff are always lovely & friendly, punctual, helpful & supportive & nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They treat me with dignity & respect in my own home, which is important as a mum with a young one at home as my son feels comfortable around the staff as well. The highlight of my day is often seeing a friendly face and being helped to live happily within my own space again. They help me prepare meals - something I missed doing & to access the community again. They also help with personal care & to keep my home clean & tidy.

Their help has meant that I now have more energy to be present with my family - something I wanted from using this service - & in a few months I've gone from feeling like I'm barely managing to exist, to feeling like I am starting to live & get some of my life back again. A huge thank you to you all!

If I could give Eden country care 10 stars I would, the care, support and compassion the team have shown to my mum is above and beyond more than I ever expected. All the team treated my mum with dignity and respect. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Over a short space of time mum build a special relationship with her care team. The office staff are always available to support and help especially with sorting out hospital issues. It takes special people to become carers and Eden country care are able to provide an outstanding service. I am so grateful to all concerned.

The care received was amazing friendly and professional with a personal touch, something you don't ever anticipate needing so a complete shock to find out you need that kind of help and support, however as above and more carers became friends in a short time and the dedication was 100% plus. This is a competent care service and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others considering care at home.

They have been nothing but thoughtful, respectful and caring. They are never rushed and take their time to help Mum when she is finding it difficult.

Eden Country Care has been extremely supportive in caring for my mother for the last year. Having suffered a major stroke my mum has required extra support with shopping etc. which has been accommodated. The staff are very kind and work very hard in at times difficult circumstances.

The carers always enter my daughter's home with a smile and a cheery hello and greeting. They are considerate about her privacy and modesty and always treat her with respect. I have never heard them talk about other staff or clients this maintaining privacy. They are very good at record keeping and following protocol.

Eden Country Care helped my dad through some of the most challenging times of his life, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
