My father has mobility issues which makes him housebound. The carers look after his personal care and attend to his meals on our behalf. If we require extra help (he sometimes drops the phone and can't reach it) I ring them and they will sort it on their next visit.

I could not wish for a better person. She carries out what is needed in a very efficient way not wasting time with chatting.

Unless unavoidably delayed at a previous call, they are always on time within a few minutes.

EMH provided home visits to my dad who is 94. They visited twice a day to ensure he had meals and his medication. All of the team were friendly and my dad enjoyed their company. They would often go the extra mile like fetching him a newspaper and fish and chips on a Friday! Would highly recommend them to anyone requiring care in their own home.

Our family are indebted to the care my husband received. It enabled him to remain at home until he died which is what he wanted. We were able to have the same small group of carers which was very helpful. This enabled my husband to feel he could cope more easily in very difficult circumstances. The staff became our friends and whatever we had to face we knew they would help us wherever possible. They all worked as a team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your firm to anyone which was mentioned on the back of his order of service.

My father was discharged following a 2 1/2 week stay in hospital. He was very week with several major issues and was released with a care package of 4x visits per day. He was very needy. East Midlands Homecare were outstanding in accommodating dad into their schedule and ensuring the package and care was just right. I also felt supported and guided through this change. I am very grateful for the professional, empathetic supported they have provided for dad + me.

EMH responded quickly to my initial enquiry and quickly visited to understand more. Both the manager and the carer grasped what we needed very quickly, and we had it all up and running in less than a week. The care was just as we wished, thanks.

East Midlands Homecare cared for my bedbound, non-verbal mum from January 2017 until she passed in February 2023. In late 2022, they began caring for my dad, who needed increasing support until he passed a few days ago. Over eight years, they became part of our family. Many carers remained throughout, earning my dad's full trust. He was proud and didn't want care, but they introduced it gently, ensuring he retained his dignity. When asked if he was okay, he'd always say, "I am now you're here." In his final days, they kept me informed and ensured he had the support he needed. One carer stayed awake overnight, checking on him as he peacefully passed. Because of them, I was there within half an hour, holding his hand, which was still warm-a special moment. Being assigned East Midlands Homecare in 2017 was a lottery win. I'd be happy to share my experience with anyone considering their care, and have provided my contact details to the team.

East Midlands Homecare are extremely professional in every aspect of the care that they give to our mum. They are caring and very understanding when it comes to our mum's needs and nothing is too much trouble for them. If we need to discuss our mums needs there is always someone on hand to discuss them with.

An excellent service with caring and professional staff and assistance. I would be happy to recommend them to my friends and family and - if the need arises - would hope they will care for me in the future should the need arise.

I have always found the carers from East Midlands Homecare Ltd to be very pleasant, courteous and professional in their work. They treat my husband with care and respect. Nothing is too much trouble. Very good staff. Regular on times of arrival, give help as and when required if time allows on small household tasks i.e. washing up, taking washing from the machine.
