Joan's Carers believes that everyone should have the right to remain living at home for as long as possible. To achieve this Joan's Carers creates personalised care plans tailored to each individual. Care plans are co-created with the Service User ensuring their needs are at the forefront and to work together on an outcomes focused approach.

Joan's Carers is an extremely experienced, family run care at home company, having operated for over 25 years in the West Coast of Scotland.

Services can vary from a simple medication reminder or welfare check in, up to full bed care using equipment with 2 x Carers. All Carers are trained in all Care tasks including personal care, medication and infection control as well as specialising in Dementia, Parkinson's and Trauma.

Since my husband was in hospital for two weeks and came home the carers have not been coming until 9'oclock. This is an hour later and not very convenient. At night it is around 9'oclock and he goes to bed at 7'oclock. he is always in bed when they come.

The carers, without exception, have always been polite, smiling and willing to help, often going beyond the time I am allotted. It is difficult not knowing the approximate time they will come. Sometimes they are much too early in the morning.
