St Jude's Care has been supportive and reliable in looking after Mum. The staff are kind and professional, and Mum feels comfortable with them. Communication has been excellent, and any concerns or questions we've had were addressed appropriately and quickly. They are very flexible and understanding which helps, as we are new to care at home. Overall, we appreciate the help they provide and the difference it makes for our family. Thank you.

Compared to the last agency I've been very pleased with the work and the manner in which it is carried out. I no longer dread the visit, as I did before.

The help my husband and I get from St Jude's is very good.

My experience overall has been a good one. The carers are usually on time and carry out their tasks cheerfully. One or two of the carers are outstanding. There is some inconsistency in the timing of the lunch visits. It is sometimes 1.30 pm, the next day it is 11.45 am, but this may be unavoidable. It is helpful when the client's schedule of visits arrives on time, but it is not always the case.

Carers are very good, helpful and friendly.

The care needs for both my parents have been a roller coaster over the past 6 months. But throughout St Jude's have supported them and us as a family. I couldn't have coped without them. Having both domiciliary and live in care at times, has given us a unique insight into the company. There have been hiccups but each have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. But they are always available to chat about concerns and the carers are brilliant.

My husband had end-of-life care from 23/9/24-28/2/25 at home with carers from St Jude's for a half hour morning and half hour evening to assist wonderful, caring and compassionate staff. I could not have coped without them. My husband passed away peacefully on 1st March 2025.

I have been a client of this care service in excess of one year and have received excellent service, communication with headquarters really good, and overall experience highly acceptable. Very great treatment.

I look forward to them coming, I like being got up in the morning early, washed and dressed.

My review comes straight from my heart, Dad has had a very unsettling time since the passing of his wife, then the diagnosis of Alzheimer's and dementia, Dad's wish has always been to stay in his own home, we did our best travelling 5 hours to visit him twice monthly however it became clear he was starting to need more. After lots of research we chose St Jude's. While I respect it's early days, the improvement already has been noticeable. Dad's getting back to being his happy, chatty, tidy self. The staff are friendly, patient and very understanding of Dad's needs, the team genuinely care, it's not just a job and it shows encouraging him with his appearance, going for local walks and cups of tea, they help with housekeeping, but most of all Dad's happy. We as a family can't thank them all enough for providing a wonderful caring service, it's had a huge positive impact with Dad, also given us as a family the support and reassurance on a daily basis to know he's doing well.

Fabulous carers almost without exception. Friendly, kind, efficient and professional. Communication between care managers and client/family is less effective. Protocols not always followed e.g. new carer never met the client and not briefed by the client's needs/routines. Rely on a lot of persistent input from family.

My dad is recently widowed and has been diagnosed with onset of dementia and Alzheimer's. We live so far away from him and just felt that he required a bit of company and help in everyday life. We wanted him to stay in his own house and live the best life he possibly could and with the help St Jude's this is now possible. The staff are very caring. And the organisation are very helpful, understanding and prompt at acting and give us the peace of mind in between our visits and give Dad the company he requires. Overall a fantastic experience.

Most of the staff are kind caring and considerate, friendly, confident and treated me with dignity and I've enjoyed having all women and nice to have the same few to build a friendship with them. We have had the odd one or two that rush and don't take as much care as others. The management and communication to family of changes to hours or timings can be troublesome, I was also asked to download an app and tell them when I had which I did but I was never told what to do with it at all.

It's great to know that Mum is in good hands when we can't be with her.

Does what it says on the tin. Carers are punctual, polite, caring and friendly. They take the time to chat with me and tell me how my wife was on that visit. I also have access to their notes and can read what they did on the day.
