Nightingale's could not have been more helpful. Care was arranged very quickly for Mum and all the carers have been very caring and respectful. I am extremely pleased with the service provided and can highly recommend Nightingale's.
Thank you so much for that kind review. We understand at times care is needed immediately, and will always try and set this up straight away. We are so pleased that your mum has benefitted from the service. Thank you Wendy Harvey
Nightingales provide an excellent service and are always available if I need to ask anything. My mother-in-law is receiving very good care and Wendy goes above and beyond and we are extremely grateful.
Thank you Wendy
Carers were very professional and empathetic with mum in the days leading up to her death. She was given excellent personal care and appropriate meals and drinks offered. Mum was very frail and weak in the last weeks of her life and I had every faith in the carers looking after her. She died with dignity and love. I could not have asked for more.
Thank you for that lovely review. From the Nightingales team could we say what a privilege it has been, to have looked after your Mum for the last 16 years. We will fondly remember the trips out for milkshake, and the wonderful way your Mum could brighten the greyest of days with that laugh. Thank you From us all at Nightingales.
Overall good, treated well in all ways. Treated with dignity.
Thank you for your review. Nightingales are pleased you felt that you were treated with dignity throughout.
We are only a couple of months in with our relationship with Nightingales but so far everything has been professional, caring, tailored to my mother's needs, and in making my life easy in terms of making arrangements. I couldn't have asked for more with all staff we've so far had contact with several members of staff and mum is building a good relationship with her primary carer.
Thank you for your review. We listen to understand and build a care package around each clients needs. So pleased that you feel the benefit for you both already. Kind regards
Alex, my son have a good relationship with the carer.
Thanks and keep going.
Thank you for that review. Nightingales are very pleased that you are both happy with the service.
I was discharged from hospital 19.12. 23 after a major operation unable to bend, wash hair, bath, wash below my waist. I live alone. I contacted Nightingale's (recommendation through a friend) it was wonderful - prompt assessment and a care package set up quickly so that I was looked after for the next 3 1/2 months until I could manage myself. My carer was an angel - words cannot express how much I appreciated the excellent care I received; a boost both mentally and physically. I felt someone cared.
Thank you so much for that lovely review. I know the carer will be so pleased to know what a difference that made.
Whilst the care mainly involves cleaning and vacuuming the contact and regular 'keeping an eye' on my mother gives me confidence that any possible issues both health wise and property wise can be dealt with promptly.
My mother now considers her carers as her friends and values there visits.
Thank you for that positive review. So pleased to hear that your mother feels so comfortable with the carers.
I contacted Nightingales for personal care assistance following a replacement shoulder operation. The office staff were very supportive in setting up my requirements for assistance washing/showering + dressing a.m and getting ready for bed in the evening. All members of caring team extremely kind and made the whole experience a good one. Would contact in future if we need of care.
Thank you so much for that review. We are so pleased that we were able to help you through your post operative care.
Adjustments to cover required have always been accomodated - even one day when we wanted an extra emergency visit!
There is little to fault with their service.
Thank you so much for that review. We are pleased that you value the service provided.
If l ever needed additional last minute care or to change something they were always very obliging.
In Mum's final days they were so helpful to me and called in even though it was not technically the day they were due .
Thank you for your positive review. I know the care team enjoyed caring for your mum over the years. Such a dignified lady.
They always spend time to have a chat with him and always ask if they can do anything else before they leave.
I would recommend Nightingale care to anybody who is looking for Care in the home
Thank you so much for those kind words. Nightingales try very hard to ensure that a professional and high standard if care is delivered.
The girls took care of my father by dealing with his personal care and preparation of food. He was primarily bed bound so not an easy task. They were always bubbly and got on with my father extremely well, although sometimes my father could be quite rude at times if he didn't want to be disturbed but they just took it on the chin.
Unfortunately my father passed away at home in May 24 and was found by one of the carers. They dealt with my father in a dignified way and cleansed him and made him look peaceful before my sister and I were able to get to the property. They stayed to console us as long as we wanted for which I am internally grateful.
Thank you so much for those kind words. I know the carers built a good bond with your father and working closely with yourselves.
Nightingale Care were wonderful in helping with care on several occasions in 2024 for both my parents who had complex needs. They bent over backwards to understand and support the situation and I can't praise them highly enough. Thank you.
Thank you so much for those kind words. Nightingales try very hard to ensure we support the clients in their own homes.
My mother (well into her 90s) has been using Nightingale's for sometime. She lives alone and is mobile inside the house, and still living in her own home after a heart attack and Covid. But I live and work abroad and can't be home. Nightingale's have provided morning and evening care service for some years. All that time they have been efficient and responsive, and - most important - my mother finds the carers capable and pleasant. As with any such service, minor glitches arise because of staffing situations, and while carer characters and approaches differ, all have met good standards of care, efficiency, and honesty. Those are all important things when I can't be close by, and are all relayed to me from my mother, who gives me daily updates on which carers did what. I'm not sure how to rate this in stars. Neither I nor my mother have had any real complaints, but we're not looking for nursing "angels", just a reliable, realistic and trustable human response and that is what we've had!
Thank you for taking the time to review Nightingales, we very much appreciate your kind words. We have a great pleasure in looking after your mum, such a sunny personality.
The only reason I have marked management down is that we have at times had two carers turn up at different times or they have turned up when my sister has been in respite.
Other than this minor point I would recommend Nightingales as they are all very helpful, friendly and professional.
I have not been able to rate Value for Money as the council pays for my sister's care.
Thank you so much for you time in reviewing Nightingales.I know the carers very much enjoy looking after your sister.
