The Carers of the 'one to one' care provided by Orchard could not be faulted. I witnessed the care given to my husband during the last 8 weeks of his life and was tremendously grateful to them. They went way above what was expected of them, keeping my husband really comfortable and safe. They had
friendly chats with him about his life and family and showed a real interest in him as a person not just a client. I will be forever grateful to them and will never forget what they did for him.
Reply from Charlotte Kennedy, Registered Manager at Orchard Home Care Services LtdThank you for sharing such heartfelt feedback. We are deeply honoured to have supported your husband during such an important time. Our team strives to provide compassionate, person-centered care, and it means so much to know that their efforts brought comfort and dignity to him. Your kind words will be shared with the carers, as they take great pride in making a difference. Please know we are always here should you need any further support.

I am so pleased Orchard Home Care took over my dad's care. My dad has Parkinsons and needs supervised medication and at the moment catheter care. For this he has four visits a day. Most importantly my dad is pleased with the care he has and has a good relationship with his carers. It is a small team
whuch is good as he has got to know them. They have been on it with timings which is important for his medication.
They keep me informed and will call or message if anything specific comes up. They always seem to have his best interests at the center of care they provide. They have picked up medication when its late and contacted the GP or 111 services when needed.
The service seems well joined up with good communication between the carers and the office.
A family friend commented yesterday they can hear a change in his voice for the better since Orchard Home Care have been in place. He can stay in his home and not be isolated.
Thank to all the team.

Timely visits and clear communication are priorities for us, so it's great to know this has made a positive difference. We're proud our team has supported with medication, liaised with healthcare professionals, and kept you informed every step of the way. Hearing that your dad feels more comfortable and connected at home means so much to us. Thank you for recognizing the dedication of our carers and office team-we'll share your kind words with them. Please reach out anytime if we can do more.

I have good carers that come in. I do find few carers dont like doing my call due to be being out the area they work in. but the small handful of carers I do have do everything that's asked they sit and chat help prepare food clean etc and are lovely with my animals and family the office staff are ok
had ups and downs with some of them some times when you ask for something it's not delivered to the correct person in the office or gets ignored i prefer to have conversations via email or message so I know it's delivered and correct. ( apart from this the carers you may have are lovely down to earth will be happy to help you with anything and take time in what they do for this fact I would highly recommend )
Reply from Charlotte Patterson, Registered Manager at Orchard Home Care Services LtdThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are glad to hear that our carers have provided you with such excellent support and care. It's wonderful to know they take the time to assist with tasks, engage in conversation, and show kindness towards your family and pets. Your recommendation means a great deal to us.
We appreciate your honesty regarding the challenges with location coverage and communication. We understand how important clear and timely communication is, and we will review our internal processes to ensure requests are directed to the correct person and acted upon promptly. Your preference for email or messaging is noted, and we will make every effort to accommodate this to provide you with a smoother experience.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We remain committed to delivering the highest standard of care and service, and your comments help us improve. If you have any further concerns or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us direct
