Regal Home Care was recommended to me by an old school friend whose mother has received excellent home care from them for many years. My 99 year old father was cared for by Regal for the final eight months of his life until his death in November last year. Due to his advanced frailty, and the fact that he was living alone in the family home after the death of my mother in 2021, dad needed two carers who visited three times a day. The Regal staff were uniformly excellent. The managers were knowledgeable and experienced, and the home carer teams were positive and professional. Of equal importance, they were kind and interested in my father, talking with him about his long life and all the changes he had witnessed. Soon he knew all of them by name, and he looked forward to their visits throughout each day. They volunteered to cook his favourite meals, and grew genuinely fond of him. After he died, some of his carers attended his funeral service, which meant a lot to us. Thank you so much.

We are so pleased we found Regal Home Care. The staff have always been kind, friendly and considerate. Mum likes that she sees the same carers all the time. Mum said, 'It isn't very nice when I get strangers coming into my home.'

Mum has been receiving care for over a year and Regal Home Care have always been very accommodating if visiting dates have had to be changed. Mum is now building a relationship with the carers who come so it is like talking to friends.

Overall Experience

I cannot recommend Regal Homecare highly enough the care they give my mother in law is exceptional. The carers go above and beyond what they should do with not only caring for her but also her little cat Bella. Alex the Manager at Regal is very good and visits her clients regularly and has input with OT's any many more professional bodies to do with her clients.

I cannot thank Regal Home Care enough, my father was in hospital for a knee replacement and initially it was essential that some home care was put in place for him to be discharged from hospital.
Regal home care were so very helpful and accommodated us straight away and made arrangements for his return home.

As it happened, his recovery exceeded anyone's expectations and we didn't need the home care for long, but I would thoroughly recommend Regal Care to anyone. They were kind, professional and very organised. Many many thanks to all the team.

Overall Experience

Very good experience with Regal caring for my mother. I tend not to give 5* ratings since this implies there can be no room for improvement in the service, and that's never quite true, is it? So a solid 4*. The best part for my mother was her relationship with the carers who she treated as friends and always had a great time chatting to them and laughing. They were very caring to her personally, and both the carers and the management supported me throughout what has been a very difficult year, with lots of advice. In the end, my mother had to go into a nursing home and she is missing the Regal carers very much, as will I.

The service I have been receiving has been excellent but for one person. The girls are very helpful and are always there for me.

Overall Experience

My mother has been supported by Regal Home Care for many years. She usually has the same three carers over 7 days which is very important to her and they know her well. Conversation is nearly as important to her as the physical care she needs daily. We her family feel supported by both carers and their manager and appreciate their dedication to an often challenging job.

Overall Experience

Regal Home Care has been looking after my husband since late 2018 and has looked after him really well as his condition has deteriorated. He has been in bed or hoisted to a recliner since September 2019, but has never had a bedsore thanks to the carers. They are always diligent, friendly and encouraging to both of us. We feel that the carers and office staff care about us personally and are always cheerful and ready to help. They really cheer us up.

I have always found the team, both management and carers, to be personable towards my mother and myself. They are polite, kind and very friendly. My mother is so pleased with the team of carers she looks forward to their twice-daily visits.

I have been a client with Regal for more than 12 months. The small team of ladies I currently have allocated to my calls are very kind, compassionate, competent, and caring. The manager and office staff are very approachable and do their best to accommodate my specific needs. Having received care for many years with a number of providers, I consider them to be the best company that I have personally had experience with.

Helpful friendly caregivers.
A good standard of care was given at each visit.
Care is not rushed within allocated time slots.
Always willing to undertake wider areas of care such as clearing worktops, etc.
Flexible visiting times.
Happy to fix regular visiting times to suit my daily routine.

Overall great standard of service.

Overall Experience

All carers are really professional and take care and listen to what you require or request. They are more than happy to help with medication although I self-medicate but if there is something the doctor has prescribed then they are more than willing to medicate like creams etc. Being unable to use the right-hand side of my body their help is invaluable to me also in the shower as well as toileting.
