Overall I am happy with the service that Bluebird provide. I need help getting out for an hour once a week. The support workers have always been helpful and friendly. My only real complaint is that I rarely get to see the same worker for more than a couple of weeks. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who needs help.

All the carers who visit show genuine compassion not only for my father, but also for my elderly mum and I, as we navigate one of the most difficult times in our lives.
They are always professional and personable, doing their best to accommodate our needs within their work constraints.
Each team member brings their own personality, and it's lovely to see them express that freely - it feels genuine and gives us the sense that they're treating us as individuals, not just performing robotic tasks. It also shows they feel comfortable with us, which we truly appreciate.

The carers are always polite and smartly dressed. They are vigilant in monitoring any areas of skin that may become red and take particular care to use cream to protect the skin. They are cheerful and talk to the client as appropriate.

My auntie has been receiving night roaming calls for 5 weeks, it's a comfort knowing someone is visiting her twice through the night. The carers leave a comprehensive report on the app of what they have done and any queries have been dealt with promptly by a message on the app or a phone call to the office.

Bluebird Care were part of our lives for the last three weeks of my dad's life. As a family, we knew that our dad did not have long to live and his wish was to be at home when the time came. We were very anxious about allowing strangers into our home but from the first meeting of Bluebird Cares care support staff we knew Dad would be cared for with dignity. The carers are so supportive of all family members and know actually how to support everyone. Dad had so much fun with all the staff right until the end. Now Dad has passed away we miss the carer's visits and chats. Thank you to all the carers who looked after our dad with dignity you know who you are. Keep up the fabulous work you are all amazing.

I have been extremely satisfied with the care provided by Bluebird Care in Sheffield because my aunt lives alone and all family members live a long-distance away. The carers go out of their way to help with all types of tasks and it is very reassuring to know that someone is visiting regularly. The care given by everyone, was beyond excellent. Each person gave loving care, dignity and patience, even though he could be difficult at times. Meet the Team (2)
Lynsey Joined the team in September 2017 as our dedicated Training Manager. Lynsey has a wealth of experience in the care sector with her previous two roles as the Registered Manager.
Lynsey's responsibility is to ensure that she develops and implements a training programme to ensure our staff are suitably qualified & to ensure each of our customers receives the care and support they need to lead dignified, fulfilling lives as far as they are able.
Since joining Bluebird Care (Sheffield) Lynsey has shown excellent management skills and an ability to undertake greater responsibility throughout the business and therefore in July 2019, the decision was taken to promote Lynsey to Deputy Care Manager. Lynsey thrived in this role and in recognition of this was promoted again to Care Manager in October 2021.
Dan is the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registered Care Manager for Bluebird Care (Sheffield) as well as our sister company Bluebird Care (Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire). He began his career journey with Bluebird Care in 2013 as a Care Assistant. Dan quickly demonstrated competence and excellent ability in supervision and management skills which resulted in several promotions through the ranks at Bluebird Care (Sheffield) from Supervision Manager, Deputy Care Manager and then on to Registered Care Manager in 2017. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the sector to Bluebird Care (Sheffield) and has successfully managed our team and care services to maintain our "GOOD" ratings throughout his tenure.
