All carers are polite and helpful. Carers arrive within the allocated time slot. Appropriate duties carried out efficiently. Customer care/ services have been very helpful when I needed to contact them.
My dad is treated with dignity and respect and engaged with as a person rather than just a service user.
As my dad has complex needs and is inconsistent in his mobility I'm impressed that all staff can adapt with how he is on any particular day to provide the most appropriate care
I am very happy with the care and support provided to my father by Bluebird Care. The staff are very caring and attentive and are always very professional and contact me if there is a problem, for example if my father is feeling unwell. The online portal is useful for getting updates on each visit. The office staff are very helpful and respond quickly to queries, either via the portal or by phone, and accommodate changes and requests. The service provided gives us peace of mind knowing that my father is getting the help he needs to live independently.
I have been extremely happy with all the carers who have been to help me. Nothing is too much trouble. They are all very supportive and caring people. I'm glad I chose this company as if I have any problems I can ring them and they will help solve anything
I have nothing but the nicest things to say about both the company in the office and the girls who come out and provide my care. Since BLUEBIRD have taken over most of my care mainly day to day and personal care duties my whole mental attitude has improved so much i was in a dark place which each lady that walks through my door no matter what has uplifted my spirits and encouraged me to do what I can without added pressure or the feeling of being rushed. The quality of care is of such a high standard which in turn also gives my mum piece of mind that I'm getting a good quality of care and that her daughter is being looked after keeping my dignity and leaving me feeling unembarassed about my situation, my home when the ladies come rings out with laughter and that was something that was sorely missing thank you thank you thank you for just being amazing
The level of care has been great, the carers have been very kind and conscientious so far. Mum has been comfortable and happy with them which is our main concern. They are always on time and very efficient. They offer to do more, but we are more than happy to make mum her breakfast and wash up ourselves. This had made the transition from her rehab to coming back home a happy one.
Bluebird provide a high level of care support for my father. Dad particularly appreciated the consistency of care provision among the bluebird staff. They are always polite and professional when they relate to dad and also to me and other family members.
Very happy with carers, all are friendly and professional , they arrive on time and carry out tasks I am no t able to do , they treat my property with respect , they come rain or shine I enjoy having a chat with them
Our family member required additional care to make a hot meal, general care and companionship. From meeting the friendly Assessment team to then arranging bi weekly visits all runs smoothly. The team contacts us to ensure all OK and the easy access portal can be accessed when notes are available of the latest visit by the carer. Our family member is extremely happy and it gives us a layer of professional help and peace of mind.
Not withstanding the times of the day the carers arrive, they always present themselves with a cheerful attitude. As we are having the same girls on a regular basis, we are feeling visits are more personable and friendly. Tasks and duties are carried out in polite and experienced manner with a meaningful "is there anything else you need me to do" when leaving.
We have been with bluebird for 13 months and it was the first time that we had a carer to sit with mum for 6 hours. Mum has dementia and has not been well of late. We were concerned about mum's anxiety and agitation levels but I must say after reviewing the cameras which we have, Nazia was fantastic. She showed so much patience, empathy and encouragement with mum and gave us great reassurance that we have made the right choice in choosing bluebird care. They have some wonderful carers who do genuinely care about their clients and the main thing is that mum has a good relationship and rapport with the carers and vice versa.
I'm writing this regarding Tapua, who is always on the emergency care side, she is so understanding and always gets the task done, she is polite and always knows my name, when I call in relation to my mum Marian, thank you so much
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We're delighted to hear about your positive experience with Tapiwa. She is a valued member of our emergency care team, and we're pleased to know her understanding, professionalism, and personal approach have made a difference when supporting you and your...
That said, there are a few inconsistencies with some of the less frequent nurses who come by. On occasion, they seem to simply stand around, especially if Nan is asleep or not responsive. I understand that they're only there for a short time, but it feels like more could be done to ensure she's still receiving the care and attention she deserves, even when she's resting.
In general, I'm satisfied with the service, but I think there's room for improvement in consistency across the team.
We also appreciate you highlighting the inconsistencies with some less...
I only get to visit my mum twice per year and she seems to be doing very well. We can't thank the carer enough for the care she shows my mum and we really appreciate all her hard work . She has lively conversations with mum and it is nice to know that mum has a friendly face whenever mercy is visiting
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a great deal to know that your mum is doing well and that the carers visits bring comfort and joy. We'll be sure to pass on your heartfelt thanks to the carer. Knowing your mum has a friendly and familiar face to look forward to is exactly what we strive for.

I have been with Bluebird Homecare for some time now, and I am very pleased with the progress. The carers are excellent, well trained, very helpful and friendly. They are very professional and work very hard at what is a difficult job. I have been a quadriplegic for 16 years and this group of carers are the best I have ever had. You work around me and the call times that I need, which is brilliant. The all round care is excellent!! I wish I had found Bluebird years ago. Thankyou very much for your care and attention. Please convey my gratitude to all staff involved.

Bluebird care took over my care from a previous provider in March 2025. Standards of care are good overall. Any issues we have had when contacting the management team have not always been dealt with promptly and to our satisfaction. I don't always feel listened to due to my speech impairment. However, I am happy with Bluebird Care at this point.

I feel very confident that my Mum is being taken care of by Bluebird Care, all of the carers that look after my Mum's basic needs, treat her with dignity, respect and empathy. Delivering the highest quality of homecare and support is Shabir’s goal at Bluebird Care. But he also looks to support the wider community: "Making a contribution in the local community has been my personal aim both in paid employment and as a volunteer."
Before Bluebird Care, Shabir worked for a housing charity for over 16 years: "Giving a house to a family living in unsuitable housing/ bed and breakfast is hugely satisfying. The impact it has on the whole family is immeasurable and impossible to describe - especially the difference it makes to children's lives."
"Similarly, the care Bluebird provides has a huge impact on our customers' lives. Bluebird Care provides care that I would want for my own mother, father or other family members"
"Bluebird Care employs colleagues who are passionate about providing care. We empower them through good training and by giving them freedom to make decisions."
"Bluebird Care customers maintain their independence because they have complete control of the care they receive."
Diane has over 40 years experience of providing care and as our Care Manager she has a range of qualifications she draws on for her work: Train The Trainer (Infection Prevention, Safeguarding (Adults & Children), Medication, Moving & Handling), BTEC Level 5 Diploma, NVQ Level 4 & 3, all in Management & Leadership.
When she isn’t working, Diane loves playing Bingo, walking in the country, socialising, and spending quality time with her family. She also loves holidays abroad, where she often visits ancient archaeological sites.
Laura looks after community engagement and marketing.
"My job is to ensure our customers are happy and comfortable with the care they are receiving. This also involves a lot of care planning for new customers who require domiciliary care, also known as home care. This service is where our carers visit once or more a day to provide care in the client’s own home.
I meet new customers, sit down with them and their families and make sure they receive the care that they want. It’s not just the customers we care for, it’s the families as well.
My work means that I’m office-based for three days per week and out meeting clients, old and new on the remaining two days. This can vary from one to perhaps as many as six clients per week, mainly new ones. I also work on our marketing on days I’m in the office.
I think I’m caring, compassionate and easily approachable. I’ve had a number of different jobs in care, but I’ve always been drawn back to home care; there’s just something special about it. I really enjoy getting involved in people’s care, making sure they’re comfortable in their surroundings and even becoming part of their family.
I have previously done a lot of home care for Bluebird, and I still keep in touch with clients and call in to see how they’re doing.
My favourite part of the job is being out there with the people. I love the Bluebird office team, but I love being out there meeting our clients even more."
Gail manages our live-in care service.
“When someone is interested in live-in-care, or respite care, I go to meet them and discuss their needs. I get to know them, and from that, I put together a care plan and organise care for them.
When I meet a client, I try to look at the person as a whole and support them to live in the way they want. I look at their circumstances with them and from that, I can identify how best to support them.
The office-based bit is nice, especially working with passionate and inspiring people. But I get a lot of satisfaction from making a difference with our clients. Sometimes it’s the small things that make the difference. It’s pinpointing the things that really matter and focusing on them, and making the most of the positives.
It’s about asking the right questions and finding out what is really important to them. In this job, anything can happen, and you can get almost anything thrown at you. Helping in these situations is very satisfying,g and the best bit is when we can go in, provide reassurance and make the family and person happy."
