Excellent care and compassion from The Good Care Group. I have no doubt that the care given by the company has made the client's life a lot more pleasant and the staff have been first class. I would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone seeking a superb service.
Thank you for taking the time to share your excellent experience with The Good Care Group. We are delighted to hear that the compassionate care provided has enhanced the client's quality of life. We really appreciate your feedback and I will be sure to share it with the rest of the team. With very best wishes, Nichola Proctor - Care Manager
My mother has advanced Alzheimers and needs help with everything now unfortunately. Fortunately the carers supplied by Good Care stop at nothing - their care is exceptional. We have two regular fortnightly carers and have also had a relief member of staff for a week - all three individuals are totally different in character but somehow manage to create a team which works efficiently. All three have been patient to unbelievable levels, are kind, practical and hard-working. All three have enormous empathy with both my mother and her family and friends. Above all, all three have a magnificent sense of humour - a quality which honestly makes a dreadful situation so much easier to deal with. My mother is kept clean, well-dressed, well-fed (on delicious food which I genuinely envy!) and well entertained. I feel there is nothing her carers would not do for her and I thank them all.
Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and thoughtful words. It means a great deal to us to hear that your mother is receiving the level of care, empathy, and support she deserves. I will share your lovely words with the team. Kind regards
The live-in carers are kind, compassionate and professional. They always go the extra mile to ensure that my Aunt has the best care and all that she needs. With home cooked meals, walks out in the wheelchair in the sunshine, stimulating activities at home and committed professional care that they provide with dignity and respect, my Aunt is blossoming under The Good Care Group's care. They are wonderful, and together with my Aunt's dedicated Care Manager, who has been invaluable with her help, advice and understanding, they make a fantastic team.
The Care Manager is very special. She has a deep understanding of my Aunt's personal circumstances, and will go above and beyond to ensure my Aunt and her carers are fully supported.
I wholeheartedly thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are so pleased to hear that your aunt is receiving the care he needs and that the carers have built such a positive relationship with her. I will be sure to share your feedback with the team. All the best.
The carer provided was adaptable, caring and coped well with our rural environment. My husband was critical of her cooking but I understand most food was eaten. She was a capable driver and fortunately had prior knowledge of our area. Would definitely request her again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for us. It's great to hear how pleased you are with your carer - I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to them. Also happy to take feedback on meals, cooking etc. so we can ensure it's to your husband's liking for any future care arrangements. With very best wishes,Nyree Doyle, Regional Care Manager
Exceptional care for my elderly and frail mother. Her carers are just that - caring. Their standards and attention to detail reflect the training and supervision that they have. I have particularly appreciated that the care managers stay close and take a real interest with the relationship between the carers and my mother being as important as the actual care that is given.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a five-star review. We're really pleased to hear that your mother is well cared for and that the team's attention to detail and support have made a positive difference. I will be sure to share your kind words with the carers. We really appreciate your feedback.Best,
The Good Care Group have taken over care from another care provider and the difference is like night and day. The carers are very proactive and have really made a big positive difference in the resident's life. I can't thank them enough, so glad we made the change.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your kind words. We are pleased that you've noticed such a positive difference and that our team has made a meaningful impact. I will be sure to share your feedback with the rest of the team.
By late 2020 my wife, in her 70's, was suffering from Parkinson's and Dementia. In mid January 2021 we were provided with a Polish carer who worked a month on and a month off for the next 4 years, until my wife died at the end of February 2025. She formed a strong bond with my wife and they got on very well together. She was good at motivating my wife and keeping her cheerful. I believe that my wife was happier and better able to cope with her increasing disabilities than she would have been without the quality of care that she received from this and other carers. My life was certainly made much easier than it would, otherwise, have been. I have to say that some of the other carers, who came to cover the Polish carers's month off, did not achieve the same high standard but after a time we were sent another Polish carer who proved equally good. Night care was then needed and provided. One night carer was outstanding and she and the others made a very strong team.
Dear M, Thank you for sharing your experience and kind words about The Good Care Group. We are saddened to hear of your wife's passing and extend our sincere condolences to you and your family. We are, however, very grateful to know that the care provided by our team made such a positive difference...
I feel that both carers are also very well supported by their care manager who is always in contact very quickly if needed and/or we are concerned about something.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are so pleased to hear that your father is receiving the care he needs and that the carers have built such a positive relationship with him. We understand how important it is to find carers who are not only highly skilled but also sensitive and...
In April we realised that our mother (in her nineties) was no longer safe to live alone in her own home after another bad fall, despite that being her wish. We engaged The Good Care Group and the first of two carers started live-in care about six weeks ago. This has been a great success so far. The carers have both been considerate, kind, patient, respectful and good company for her. She is looking well and seems very happy with the attention too.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are pleased that you are having a positive experience with The Good Care Group and that our carers have been kind, patient and respectful when taking care of your mother. All the best.
I have all the support I need during the day and overnight. Support for activities such as playing board games, baking, etc. I am experiencing a relapse of my MS at the moment and things like board games help enormously by way of distraction therapy so not so aware of pain as I need to get by an average day.
Thank you for your kind words. We are pleased that you are happy with the assistance you have received from our carers and that this has helped support in managing your MS. I will be sure to share your feedback with the team. All the best.
This is the second time that our family have been helped by carers from The Good Care Group. Their support during my dad’s final years was fantastic so when mum also started to need care support, I had confidence that The Good Care Group would find a good carer match for mum. Unlike some care agencies, The Good Care Group visit a potential client to assess needs and tries hard to find a good match the first time round. We were so lucky that a carer was allocated to mum’s care. She was kind, caring, experienced and had so many interests in common with mum. We were also impressed by the Care Manager who was so responsive to any messages or queries sent to her by me or her carer and who worked so hard to make mum’s care experience a happy one. Over the years of dad’s care, we tried many care agencies, not always with happy results. The Good Care Group were a breath of fresh air when we moved my dad’s care to them. They came up trumps again for mum.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review, we really appreciate your feedback. It is wonderful to read that you are pleased with the support that has been provided to both your mum and dad. I will be sure to share your kind words with the team.
Our aunt was supported during the last 8-9 Weeks of her life at home allowing her to pass with dignity in her own bed. The last couple of weeks she got to see friends, have wonderful home-cooked meals and outings to the beach with picnics. Her carer went well above and beyond what we expected and supported both us and her through her last few days, staying on past her shift to be there for our aunt so she was with someone she got on well with. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We are delighted to read that you were happy with the care that your aunt received from The Good Care Group. I will be sure to pass on your kind words to the carer and our team, we really appreciate it.
Access to the daily and weekly care diaries is very helpful - especially when they are accurate.
The training in personal care and mobility is very good. The behaviours, communication and trust are more variable: from excellent to concerning.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for your lovely words regarding our training and weekly care diaries. We are saddened to hear that you feel like your concerns haven't been listened to, as we do our utmost to ensure an outstanding service is provided. To ensure that we continue...
Dad has had a live-in carer for just over six months and it has been an excellent caring experience for the carers and those that supervise them. The carer is sensitive, attentive and flexible in her approach to Dad's changing daily needs; it is a relief to receive consistent professional care and support.
Dear Ian, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. We are pleased to read that you have had an excellent experience with The Good Care Group. It is always incredibly rewarding to hear about the positive difference we make. All the best.
It is a big decision to have someone living in your home. Our family wanted to keep my husband, who has severe Alzheimer's, at home for as long as possible. The nurse-led service of The Good Care Group has enabled this. With one or two exceptions, the carers have been skilled, sensitive, caring and supportive. The company has acted quickly when things have not been right. My only criticism is that it has sometimes been very late in the day when a carer profile is sent - leaving me with little choice.
Kind regards.
We have been fortunate having two lovely consistent carers for the last three years who are very kind and conscientious. They care for my mother-in-law very well, and she really responds to them despite her advanced dementia. Good support from management when required.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a positive review. We are happy to see that you are pleased with our carers and the support from management. All the best, Laura.
I am extremely happy with the standard of care. I am treated with respect, dignity and as an individual. Staff have taken the trouble to get to know me and my likes and dislikes and what works best for me and are patient and caring and explain things to me clearly. Very satisfied indeed.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a positive review. We are happy to see that you are pleased with our carers and the service we provide.
All the best,
Both the carer and the organisation have been extremely professional and responsive throughout. The quality of care, the tailoring of it to the client and the professional support in the background are of an excellent quality and of great comfort to family members.
Hello, thank you for leaving such lovely feedback. We are so pleased you are happy with the care your parent is receiving and the support provided by our carers and care managers. It is always incredibly rewarding to hear about the positive difference we make. Kind regards, The Good Care Group.
Just had our 6-month review with our regional care manager and had a really good conversation about the change in memory, comprehension and physical ability of my parents-in-law, what the carers had observed and reported, and what steps were being taken (and would now be taken) to address their changing needs. We have been delighted with the service provided by the Good Care Group, especially as I've had some medical challenges myself, and would recommend their services to anyone needing live-in care for ageing relatives. Both of our assigned carers are great but the senior, more experienced, carer is really special and has developed an amazing relationship with my parents-in-law. Despite their declining capacity and mobility they are both well cared for and, most importantly, still living in their own home, as per their wishes.
Hi Alan, thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We are very pleased to hear how much our team has supported you and your parents-in-law throughout these months. Reading your kind words make us really proud of our 'Outstanding' team here at The Good Care Group. Thank you again for your feedback and recommendation. Kind regards, The Good Care Group.
I have found the Good Care Group to be 100% effective and professional. There are cheaper solutions but none better. They really make sure their carers are first class and monitor the process constantly. The supervisors have a good knowledge of the situation in each household and check on it regularly.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are incredibly proud of our outstanding team here at The Good Care Group and it’s great to hear how pleased you are with the service we’ve provided. Kind regards, The Good Care Group.
