Laura joined The Good Care Group in 2024. Laura joined with over 20 years’ experience working across regulatory compliance and safeguarding, with the remit of her new role at The Good Care Group being to focus on overseeing the company’s operations, ensuring outstanding care continues to be delivered.
Laura has significant experience in care regulation and quality assurance in care, resulting from her time as Quality and Training Director for supported living provider, Aspirations Care, as well as Head of Safeguarding & Prevent at Ruskin Mill Trust, an educational charity which provides residential care, where she was responsible for ensuring legislative compliance across the UK.
Prior to joining The Good Care Group in 2015, Steven worked within the hospitality sector for various Hotel companies, within Contract catering and Facilities management, in both regional and national HR roles. With over 20 years experience in People Management, Steven is very well placed to advise on the challenges faced in supporting a diverse and geographically spread workforce.
Belinda Hanton has over 15 years of experience building high-performance teams and creating customer-centric growth strategies. Starting in advertising and publishing, she later moved into the tech sector, focusing on high-growth strategies. Her healthcare experience includes her time at LloydsDirect, where she led a successful growth strategy.
Sabah brings over nine years’ experience in health and social care to The Good Care Group. Her career in healthcare started with a simple goal: to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Her role involves overseeing clients with complex conditions and developing care plans to support them in managing these to ensure their well-being. She is a registered nurse with NMC and has experience working in both hospital and community settings, where she has supported patients with a range of acute and chronic conditions as well as end-of-life care.
Jane, an Admiral Nurse, has worked in the care industry since 2001 and has been with The Good Care Group since 2016. She specialises in supporting people with dementia and their families, as well as professional carers, through the company's Specialist Service. With over 20 years of experience in mental health, Jane holds an Advanced Diploma in Mental Health Nursing and has worked in various settings, including hospitals, care homes, and community-based services.
Anna has worked in the care industry since 1999. She joined The Good Care Group in 2016 as a Care Manager, and after being promoted to Regional Manager, she became the Head of Quality Assurance in 2023. In this role, Anna oversees the quality of care and ensures best practices are shared across the company. She has led initiatives, such as implementing a new process to prevent the progression of pressure ulcers, to achieve the best possible client outcomes.
