Having a total left shoulder replacement followed by the independent living team for 6 weeks support and recommended further care help. Already had a right total hip replacement and in 2017 finally a total hip replacement and had a horrid post operative experience - ischaemic colitis causing oedema,
in hospital for five weeks and since then have had ongoing personal care.

I'm happy with my care place provided by Libertas Care.

I look forward to seeing them, they are very supportive, caring and interested in my welfare. I love a shower feel very safe and am gaining confidence. They help with creaming my back, legs and help with compression stockings, making and changing my bed and washing. Wonderful carers, I am privileged to have this care and support.

We started with minimal care, but as time went on, we had to ask for more visits per day. The Libertas team were very obliging and helped us through a difficult period. The Staff were very caring, friendly and respectful. They certainly removed a lot of stress from us.
We count ourselves very lucky
to have had Libertas looking after Mum.

I would definitely recommend Libertas Care. They offer a very reliable and efficient service. The have been assisting my mum for a number of years now. We are so pleased to have changed to their care services. We have never had any concerns. All of their carers are kind, friendly and carry out their
working giving the client dignity and enabling them to remain happily and comfortably in their won home while giving the clients' family peace of mind that all care needs are met. Independence and remaining in her own home is so important to my mum and this simply wouldn't be achieved without the support of Libertas Care. I am truly grateful to all of the staff at Libertas Care.

We have been most impressed with the service and quality of care received by our Dad. The carers always arrive promptly and are very professional with their duties. The file contains relevant and appropriate information and is updated on a regular basis, along with a 6 monthly review. The staff are
able to identify personal qualities about Dad which is always good to read. The promptness of visit times is important as it is so much better for Dad to get consistency with his visit times as well as being able to establish positive relationships with regular carers. Communications with Libertas are always responded to very promptly and the family are informed immediately if there are any concerns. We are really pleased with Libertas and were on their waiting list before Dad could access care visits. Their commitment to providing first class care seems to be of paramount importance and they have a personal approach with consistent staff which is vital to support and meet Dad's needs.

I've had carers for several days. My husband was told he had terminal cancer on the 3rd of December and left us on the 20th of December. The care he received was truly excellent, nothing too much trouble, always a smile for us and kindness unlimited.

My step father-in-law can't praise Libertas Care enough. He is very happy with them, the carers are reliable and arrive at the allotted time which is great as he likes a routine. Nothing is too much trouble. When a call to the office is made the staff are very helpful and obliging. We would recommend
them to anyone.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The excellent and flexible care provided by Libertas has enabled my 97 year old father to retain his independence and the family, who do not live locally, feel reassured that his needs are being met. Any difficulties are communicated immediately and any queries dealt with, with tact and sympathy.
The carers are well trained and proactive, prepared to fulfill their allotted tasks with dedication, regularly reporting back to their colleagues, and keeping to time without appearing to be in a hurry, using their initiative when needed. They have an understanding of the demands that older people may make and treat my father with patience and good humour. He responds positively and feels that he shares a good rapport with them. I have experienced the management as unfailingly supportive and readily accessible.

As a family, we are delighted with the care that Libertas continues to provide for my father and would recommend the agency to anybody looking for personal care that is exactly that.

For 5 years now mum has been able to fulfill her long term wish, to stay in her own home thanks to the care and support of Libertas. As her needs have increased so has her care and I have benefited from Libertas' suggestions and observations - this is all new to me- they are the experts. Beyond the
cheerful and reliable service that is well documented, a relatively small and local company like Libertas really gets to know their clients and families. The difference this makes is priceless. I regularly am at Mum's when her carer calls and am heartened by their understanding and handling of her. No one cares for or loves mum more than I - Libertas, you enable me to maintain my life too. Highly recommended

My husband suffered with MND and we used Libertas for care and sitting services for the past two years until my husband's death in May.
The carers always arrived on time, were well trained, and always gave us confidence and assurance. The Care Company always advised us if there were any problems and
would always endeavour to accommodate our requirements, even at short notice.
A weekly work schedule would be sent at the end of the previous week with the carer's names and time of visits. The daily visits were usually at the same time which helped with organising our day.
I cannot speak highly enough of this Care Company, I got the impression that they 'really cared' for their clients and that the carers were chosen with care and attention to their attitude. I felt that they did their job because they cared and not just for the money.
I have recommended them to several people already.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Libertas Care Ltd (Homecare and Live-In Care) is calculated as follows: ( (54 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 54 Ratings = 5

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Libertas Care Ltd (Homecare and Live-In Care) is based on 9 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.9
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
